How can I delete my account by manaully in fedora? The 'flatpak' version jami dead when I click "delete account". I import my account by type in PIN, but I saw the date show '1970/1/1' below each contact.
Hi @thunderbird Could you please consider support for #bidirectional text in Thunderbird, too? (Like what other mail clients such as Roundcube, Gmail, etc have). So that there won't be a need to use add-ones to write RTL and LTR texts.

Re last boost about Apple claiming they can’t bring iPhone mirroring and AI features to Europe due to the DMA: Is it just me or does this feel like a petty way Apple is trying to get back at the EU? Because I can’t think of any way, even contrived, that a feature like mirroring an iPhone on Mac would violate the DMA, especially when you could do it between Windows and Android for ages, and as for AI by that same logic Google and Microsoft wouldn’t be able to do their AI integrations either. They took longer to reach Europe as well, but because of privacy issues which makes way more sense
@pitermach It’s not simply mirroring, iPhone Mirroring to a Mac / iPad mirroring over SharePlay also allows you to remotely control the device, something that third party apps cannot do at the moment due to those APIs being locked down.
Third party apps can mirror the display (as they’ve been able to do for ages), but they can’t remotely control the device.
@ShonP40 Now that you mention it, yeah, that does make sense, that lack of remote control limitation slipped my mind. I recently watched a video where someone was trying to make an app to cheat at an iOS game, he found one remote control app that worked in a round about way simulating a mouse which was very slow so he ended up using a 3D printer head attached to a stylus to physically tap the screen

@pitermach Also, if they're getting back at the EU for making Apple more compatible wwith other devices (Which we in the US wanted, anyway) that is definitely fucking petty.

nearly every day, i wake up & post the same video(s) to the same 4-5 sites & the reactions are often so different! which is fine, but it really does make understanding feedback a more… complex task than i’d prefer 😅
the biggest lesson i’ve learned: you can’t please everyone, so don’t try. just create things that make YOU happy, & do your best to improve if it’s within your scope and ability.
