Hello everyone @Friendica Support ! I filed this issue on github and it has been pretty ignored. Of course I don't expect it to be taken into consideration, but I would like to know if I'm the only one who perceives this feature as a problem. I would also be curious to know if in your opinion the issue is easily solvable, or if it requires an unjustifiable effort?

Introduction
Like most software in the Fediverse, Friendica accounts can also be "followed" through their RSS feed.
In this way, it is possible to use the string https://INSTANCENAME/feed/USERNAME/
Is the feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Unfortunately, however, the feed of the Fediverse accounts publishes only the contents of that account and not, for example, those reshared.
This choice, although understandable for normal accounts, is much less understandable for Groups (the former Forums), since these groups do not publish (if not rarely) their own contents.

The developers Lemmy have brilliantly solved the problem with their "Communities" (the Lemmy version of Activitypub groups) and today it is possible to follow the feed of the Lemmy communities through the string https://ISTANZA/feeds/c/NOMEUTENTE.xml?sort=New
I therefore wonder if it is not possible to make it so that at least the "Group" type accounts can display a feed that also includes shared content.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I can't think of any valid alternatives. I tried in vain to follow a Friendica Group with a Lemmy account (basically I signed up to the "group" which obviously in Lemmy is seen as a "Community"): basically I wanted to use Lemmy to make him export the RSS feed... Unfortunately, however, there are still problems that do not allow the contents of Friendica to be correctly synchronized in the community view of Lemmy.
Challenge: How many questions will it take the new Freedom Scientific AI chat bot to give me something totally ridiculous? fscompanion.freedomscientific.… Answer, only one. It just told me that R and Shift+R can be used to navigate to the next/previous slider on the Web. On the more amusing side, it was also perfectly happy to tell me that NVDA+N can be used to access the NVDA menu, and that I should quit JAWS and switch to NVDA first. A real shame we can't share the conversation...
what's interesting is that I can get it to admit being powered by Open AI and GPT-4, but it will refuse to say it's ever Claude-powered, which tells me they are probably using 4O mini for this with custom embeddings of the training / JAWS documentation.

@talon I read one called Project Nemesis that was quite good. This is what the synopsis says: The Project Nemesis by Brendan Reichs is a three-book post-apocalyptic YA series. The story is told from two points of view, Min and Noah, which share something awful. Since their 8th birthday, and every couple of years, they are brutally murdered and come back alive the next day as if nothing has happened. You find out why that is and what not as the series goes on and it was surprising to me.

A project analyzing human language usage by scraping the web is shutting down because "generative AI has polluted the data." It's going to become much harder to analyze human use of language with the rise of AI-generated stuff being everywhere.

100% agree. Tuta's posting/advertising of it's only "feature" - quantum encryption - is getting annoying. I am seriously starting to think about unfollowing.
Zero updates on any feature, roadmap. Starting to think they have an AI bot job scheduled to post about "quantum" every other day.
As a reminder, a malicious Tuta server can read the end-to-end encrypted e-mails and shared calendars exchanged on the platform as there is no way to verify the recipient's public key. This issue has been brought up to the Tuta team 6 years ago...

Back when Windows 10 was first released and for several years after, Microsoft provided a tool allowing you to show and hide updates if there were updates that were causing problems, called wushowhide. This tool is hard to find and the platform it is built on is now deprecated, so I wrote this simple Windows program to hide any unwanted Windows updates. Simply run it, wait for it to list all your available updates, and type the numbers of the updates to hide, seperated by spaces.
