Had a look at "multi-agent coding" today.

Apparently, the first step is signing up for the premium plans from OpenAI, Anthropic AND Google. So that's £50 to £500 a month. Then installing a massive pile of NodeJS to coordinate it all.

A few years ago, we were all celebrating how computing had gotten cheap: RasPi Zeros for a tenner, old HP workstations or ThinkPads on eBay for £100.

Having to pay three different landlords to build software seems like an incredibly shit vision of the future.

Después de volver del último concierto no volví a sacar el saxofón del estuche, hasta hoy. A veces es necesario desconectarse hasta de la música por un tiempito. Mientras jugaba un rato con algunos pasajes para reencontrarme, salió la caricia de esta hermosa melodía del gran cuchi y su zamba me voy quedando. No sé ni donde puse el micrófono, pero no importa. Era solo para ir quitando telarañas de los dedos mientras jugamos a hacer música.

Was just searching for reasons to get rid of this old Echo Dot 4 which sadly has such a good sound but is otherwise useless and kinda spyware to me, as I just got an E-Mail saying that there were smart home devices on my network which are Alexa compatible... TL;DR : Create a group which gives value to people, and tell them you need Signal for that.

My biggest success so far.

I must have around 400 contacts on Signal. But I use it for more than 10 years.

firstly I was not on other services, so my family downloaded Signal to have any messaging channel. But they used it only to text/call me and returning to Messenger for chatting with each other. Later I show my mother and aunt groups in Signal and after creating few group chats this somehow pulled my close family members here. If many conversations are here, the rest would follow.

You know how in the early 1900s, radium was discovered and people started putting it into a bunch of random products that were marketed as having any number of magical or healing properties because "ooooo cool it glows" and because radioactivity was such a new concept that no one understood the danger? Or how asbestos was used in like, everything for a while?

This is what generative AI is like, but for the service economy. Future generations are going to treat this shit like toxic waste.

Australia and Canada are considering joining the UK in a total ban on Twitter, over the Grok AI image generator being used to make non-consensual sexual images of women, as well as CSA images.

This would be huge if it happens. And could lead to further countries implementing bans.

Musk of course is claiming that he's the real victim.
He responded to the initial condemnation by Downing Street and news that Ofcom would be investigating, by posting a picture of Keir Starmer in a bikini.

A ten vzrůst efektivity! Osoba A prostrednictvím LLM vybleje dlouhý (jako skutečně desítky markdownů) text, což by ji jinak trvalo strasně dlouho, a osoba B prostřednictvím LLM text zkrátí (na jiný, než měla A, ale to zanedbejme), což by ji jinak trvalo také strašně dlouho.

A jak A, tak B jsou diky LLM výrazně efektivnější, zvládli více za méně.

Ne, to není vše.

Osoba B následně vyvajbuje na základě původního výblitku kód - a zase rychle!

To vše v prostředí, kdy psaní kódu nikdy nebylo skutečný bottleneck. Ale zrychlili jsme ho!

(Následně asi team C kód oignoruje a implementuje si to sám. Např. protože osoba A oignorovala jejich potřeby, ale jen vygenerovala desítky markdownů. Ale možná ne, tahle část příběhu je stále otevřená.)

Jake prostredi to je? Ja jsem nikdy nezazil technologicke prostredi kde by prave "psani kodu" nebylo bottleneck. Spousta mid-level infrastruktury a komunikace vetsich organizaci vznika prave proto, ze psani kodu je bottleneck a je potreba ho nejak™ managovat.

Dohoda o zjednodušených pravidlách podávania správ o udržateľnosti a náležitej starostlivosti pre podniky

Sociálne a environmentálne správy budú musieť podávať iba spoločnosti z EÚ, ktoré zamestnávajú v priemere viac ako 1 000 zamestnancov a majú čistý ročný obrat viac ako 450 miliónov eur . Pravidlá sa budú vzťahovať aj na spoločnosti mimo EÚ s čistým obratom v EÚ viac ako 450 miliónov eur a na ich dcérske spoločnosti a pobočky, ktoré v EÚ dosahujú obrat vyšší ako 200 miliónov eur.

Požiadavky na podávanie správ sa výrazne zjednodušia a podávanie správ špecifických pre daný sektor sa stane dobrovoľným. Spoluzákonodarcovia zabezpečili, aby spoločnosti, ktoré sú povinné vypracúvať správy o udržateľnosti, túto zodpovednosť nepreniesli na svojich menších obchodných partnerov. Firmy s menej ako 1 000 zamestnancami nebudú musieť poskytovať svojim väčším obchodným partnerom informácie nad rámec toho, čo je zahrnuté v štandardoch dobrovoľného podávania správ. Na uľahčenie dodržiavania predpisov Komisia zriadi digitálny portál s prístupom k šablónam a usmerneniam týkajúcim sa požiadaviek na podávanie správ na úrovni EÚ a na vnútroštátnej úrovni.

Menej spoločností bude musieť vykonávať náležitú starostlivosť (due diligence) s cieľom znížiť svoj negatívny vplyv na ľudí a planétu. Podľa revidovaných pravidiel sa to bude vyžadovať iba od veľkých spoločností v EÚ s viac ako 5 000 zamestnancami a čistým ročným obratom viac ako 1,5 miliardy EUR a od spoločností mimo EÚ s rovnakým prahom obratu v EÚ. Budú musieť vykonávať analýzy rozsahu pôsobnosti s cieľom identifikovať riziká vo svojom reťazci činností a mali by žiadať o informácie iba od obchodných partnerov s menej ako 5 000 zamestnancami, ak informácie na hĺbkové posúdenie nemožno získať iným spôsobom.

Plány prechodu, ktoré zabezpečia, že obchodný model spoločnosti bude kompatibilný s prechodom na udržateľné hospodárstvo, už nebudú potrebné. Podniky budú niesť zodpovednosť na národnej úrovni za nesprávne uplatňovanie pravidiel a môžu čeliť pokutám až do výšky 3 % čistého celosvetového obratu firmy. Smernica o náležitej starostlivosti sa bude uplatňovať až od 26. júla 2029 na všetky podniky, na ktoré sa vzťahuje.
