Mailchimp (a proprietary mailing list and customer CMS platform) has updated its terms of service.
Mailchimp is planning to feed your email content and customer contacts into its AI models.
Mailchimp's email generating AI might spit out content that infringements on another person's copyright. And the new Mailchimp terms of service say you are legally liable for that copyright infringement, not them.

@exitcode totally fair, but it costs us money to host the files and we're not going to monetize the data (in fact it is end-to-end encrypted and only the user has the key, so we can't). So we have to charge to be able to run the servers for the service. But it'll be open source so you can run your own instance if you want to. We will however, provide 1TB of encrypted file storage with a subscription for sharing or just for yourself...
@ryanleesipes so it's a paid service integrated into Thunderbird? Sounds like a bloatware like a pocket in Firefox.. In don't want it in the mail client, make it separate, not preinstalled addon..

Strong, secure, heavy image. Can this logo do that or just like the new Firefox with mirror flipping and color modifying?

Scaling it down and ask color-blind people to distinguish it with Firefox is probably the most inhumanity torture that one could come up with through out the whole entirely human history.

This is nice. Can we also resurrect the idea of syncing Thunderbird profiles via Mozilla Sync or a similar service? This could help maintain settings and customisations across environments and devices.

Is there any chance someone knows if the automatic resizing/distribution of columns in #Thunderbird 115 wide view can be disabled? I don't need the "Order received" or "Received" columns to be so wide. Is there an about:config trick? @thunderbird
You can resize the columns by hovering the mouse cursor over the edge of column headers, and after the cursor changes to the ↔ symbol, clicking and dragging the mouse horizontally, releasing the button when appropriate. ↔️

@Thomas @vinzv Hast du schon mal das Frio Theme gewechselt und geprüft, ob es dort auch zu den Artefakten kommt? Deaktiviere ggf. einzelne Zusätzliche Features wie z.B. die Schlagwortwolke und prüfe erneut.

About Stray Gods (again), when you say "the animation is great in a Last Express-ish motion-comic way", do you mean that the animation is literally no different from what that mid-90s game was doing, or just a similar aesthetic? (I can't tell.) I'm mainly wondering if Stray Gods really had to be implemented in such a way that it practically requires a discrete GPU, or if the same effect could have been done more simply.
@matt Similar aesthetic, but not the same. Stray Gods uses real 3D backgrounds, sometimes with 3D animation and rack focus — that couldn’t have been done with 2D art. It was the foreground stuff that I was comparing to LE.
Whether the background style *required* that fancy 3D stuff is up in the air. I thought it was worth the fan noise.
I wonder if the studio felt pressure to make the graphics look at least somewhat "modern" given that they were developing a high-budget (for an indie studio) game.
Interesting that the fan noise was noticeable for you as well. Given the centrality of audio in this game, I would have figured that minimizing fan noise would be a higher priority. But then, I'm visually impaired, so what do I know?
