I finally started to fill data in to #OpenStreetMap. At first I just looked at how several features are already tagged, then slowly started to correct wrong data and then add missing details. I use #StreetComplete app to add details on walk travels, #OsmAnd app to add POIs and of course the iD web editor for larger edits. I am especially impressed by the iD editor. It's so helpfull with clever use of autocomplete and linking to #OSM wiki... The best reward is 3D view becoming more realistic...
@schenklklopfer On OSM Wiki there are two 3D renderers worth metioning: 🗺️ demo.f4map.com/ That's the map in the image. I use it more because it refreshes data more often. But it's proprietary. 🗺️ streets.gl/ That should be open source and some details look there better. But they refresh very sporadically.
Good to see another person contributing. One thing that bit me a couple times when learning OSM was realizing that just because it was on the map doesn't mean it was correct or the best way of doing it. I recommend double checking against the wiki if you're not sure.
Id does do a great job for the basic tags.
JOSM is the standard for even more advanced edits.
@jhaluska True. I already found several tags that were used against wiki recommendations. What I mainly meant by learning from existing map data is discovering tags expressing the feature you want to add.

Did you know that you can use the StreetComplete things or stores overlay to add POIs? This saves you having to switch. For even more options, there's also SCEE! github.com/Helium314/SCEE A more advanced version of StreetComplete where you can edit the raw tags of an object for example and plenty of more quests.

GrapheneOS supports hardware-based attestation and it's entirely possible for Google to allow it as part of the Play Integrity API. They choose to ban using GrapheneOS.
Play Integrity API has no minimum security patch level and nearly all these apps use weak software-based checks that are easily bypassed by attackers. The hardware-based checks rely on trusting every key distributed to every certified Android device, which are often leaked.
Hardware-based attestation can be used for security purposes such as verifying device integrity with a pinning-based approach without the weakness of being vulnerable to leaked keys from the whole Android ecosystem since specific per-app keys in the secure element can be pinned.
Play Integrity API is claimed to be based on devices complying with the Compatibility Test Suite and Compatibility Definition Document. We have irrefutable proof that the majority of certified Android devices do not comply with the CTS/CDD. Play Integrity API is based on lies.
Essentially every non-Pixel device has important CTS failures not caused by CTS bugs. OEMs are cheating to obtain certification. Google claims GrapheneOS can't be permitted because we don't have a certification where they freely allow cheating and don't ban non-compliant devices.
Since Play Integrity doesn't even have a minimum security patch level, it permits a device with multiple years of missing patches. Hardware attestation was required on all devices launched with Android 8 or later, but they don't enforce it to permit non-compliant devices.
The reality is that the Play Integrity API permits devices from companies partnered with Google with privileged Google Play integration when they're running the stock OS. It's easy to bypass, but they'll make changes to block it being done at scale long term such as if we did it.
It does not matter if these devices have years of missing security patches. It doesn't matter if the companies skipped or improperly implemented mandatory security features despite that being required by CDD compliance. Failing even very important CTS tests doesn't matter either.
Google can either permit GrapheneOS in the Play Integrity API in the near future via the approach documented at grapheneos.org/articles/attest… or we'll be taking legal action against them and their partners. We've started the process of talking to regulators and they're interested.
We're not going to give Google veto power over what we're allowed to do in GrapheneOS. We comply with CTS and CDD except when it limits our ability to provide our users with privacy and security. Google wants to be in charge of which privacy/security features can be added. Nope.

@JonathanMosen Hi, I've just read your interview with Vicky, very impressive what those smart glasses can do. Here in Brazil, I'm probably able to buy one, but I'm not sure I'll find resellers who let me test a model extensively. One question I'd like asked to users like her is, are Envision able to accurately read the screens of musical instruments like keyboards such as those by Yamaha and Roland, including all of its menus and tabs, so I could program it as fast as a sighted person?
@clv0 the problem you’ll have is that every time you change an option, it is likely to speak the whole screen again. So it won’t be nearly as fast as a sighted person can do it, but you may be able to do it if you’re really stuck.

yep I'm with you on the compatibility aspect- developers are still not putting enough effort into releasing native AArch64 builds of common apps, some things like one-drive desktop or others that install drivers can't work through emulation, ETC.
