So check out this lovely error. Periodically I pull an update to the Android project I work with and I get an error like this. Sometimes the trick to this (the error doesn't explain this) is Tools->AGP Upgrade Assistant. But sometimes it means you need to upgrade Android Studio. To what? Error doesn't say. What I have to do is go on project chat and say "what version are we using now?". Then they say the name of an animal, like "hummingbird", and I have to work out what version # that is in Snap
This last issue is because Android Studio— necessary for Android development— is not a Google product. Rather it's "JetBrains"' IDE for "JetBrain's" version of Oracle's programming language. Injected into this like a kind of parasite are two separate programs that make Android work; one of the two, AGP, is developed by Google, and the other, Gradle, seems to be developed by the community. Gradle and AGP are at eternal war with each other. AGP doesn't know how weird their name sounds to me

oh I make them. Sudokus, too, but I had to get hold of movable braille numbers for that. I use print scrabble tiles with braille paper numbers glued on them when I'm at my desk for that.

That red skirt I just mended with the little embroidered daisy? Welp, got it stuck on something and ripped the waist opening of it, didn't I. 😆 I don't have thread or a patching fabric that exactly matches so I went the scrap piece of fabric of a good weight and highly visible mending route. I'm thinking it's going to be either a colourful fern or a peacock feather, but bed calls me.

we don't have anything comparable to your national weather radio service here. Our shipping forecast goes out a few times a day and there are specialist marine radios that use VHF I think, but tuning into 24/7 weather on a home receiver seems a pretty different way of doing it to me here in the UK.

This is a repository of apps to be used with your F-Droid client. Applications in this repository are official binaries built by the original application developers, taken from their resp. repositories (mostly Github, GitLab, Codeberg).
@leeloo F-Droid describes itself as decentralized and stresses the importance to not be "locked into F-Droid as the monopoly app provider" (see: f-droid.org/en/2022/02/05/dece…) – so we help with that. Furthermore, several apps have #reproducibleBuilds at IoD but not there (e.g. Aurora Store). IzzyOnDroid performs extra checks (see: android.izzysoft.de/articles/n…). So this increases security and also resilience. Also, some people prefer one place and others the other, developers included 😉

6 A whole life approach to things in general. As opposed to merely “pro-life” this means an attitude that works towards solutions that make the choice for life more likely. So, things like universal child care, access to affordable health care, etc. are to be worked toward.
7 Specific to this election is a consideration of immigration. Here is what the Bible says about that: Leviticus 19:33-34: "When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” (Note that this is a direct command from God.)
