I think there might be a problem with the timezones attributions there; in your map, mountain time zone, which accounts for ~7% of US population, and does cover some of the most agricultural economic regions, significantly outranks pacific time, which contains ~17% of US population, incl. California, with all its internet economy. Seems pretty unlikely!
Same, but worse, for UTC-4; that's a lot of rainforest and lonely coastal islands, unlike UTC-5, which contains half the US population.
what is it exactly? A histogram of UTC offset as declared on the commit? If so, yeah, remember most western Europe (except Portugal, UK and Ireland) spend 7 months in UTC+0200 and 5 in UTC+0100.
I'm a little amused that there are so may people trying to find faults or poke "a hole" in this graph. You're taking this too seriously. It's not the end of the world if some commits are assigned the wrong time zone.
The fact is that many top contributors to #curl, myself included, are based in Europe. That's the simple explanation for why the graph looks like this.
I think a lot of people may be used to graphs often being either misinterpreted by whoever is posting them, or worse, being intentionally manipulated to mislead the reader.

Osobně si myslím, že kritika byla oprávněná. S tak velkým dosahem by měl zodpovědně vybírat hosty, kteří pro ČR něco skutečně dokázali, obzvlášť za 60 000 eur měsíčně. Dávání prostoru komunistce podporující Putinův režim mi přijde neobhajitelné. Nerozumím novinářům, kteří ho obhajují (Šídlo atd.).
@archos Je to stejné jako u DVTV. Nejdůležitější je přitáhnout pozornost za pomoci kontroverzní osoby. Jak to dopadlo za covidu, jsme si mohli všichni včetně mrtvých vyzkoušet. Výmluv od novinářů jsem slyšel už tolik, jako za komunistů od lidí, kteří aktivně spolupracovali s režimem. Novináři si musí uvědomit, že jejich práce má velký společenský dopad. Svým chováním a výmluvami jen dokazují, jak jsou nedospělí a morálně ubozí. Čest kazdé výjimce ze světa médií.

@archos@arch-linux.cz @jakubzelenka Ano. Veřejnoprávní média mají jiné poslání v oblasti informací než ta soukromá. Tady paltí pravidla daná zákonem a vnitřními předpisy.
O úrovni veřejnoprávních médií a společnosrti jako celku pak vypovídá míra ustrašenosti vedení ČRO i ČT, jejich šéfredaktorů i moderátorů při střetu s antisystémovými politiky a, bohužel, i s těmi ostatními.
Dalším problémem je snaha kopírovat vše pitomé a bulvární od sokromých médií.
Pokud nemůže být občan hrdý na svá veřejnoprávní média jako na vrcholně solidní, na politicích nezávislý, chytrý a odvážný zdroj informací, a to já osobně nejsem, pak už jsme jen krůček ke ztrátě demokracie jako takové, neb soukromá média pracují na jiném principu a většina kvalitních se poschovávala za paywall.
Jakákoli polovičatost a hloupost hlídačů demokracie je vždy použita nepřáteli demokracie, NATO a EU k obsazení mediálního prostoru svými lidmi a prostředky. A to nemluvím o odklonu mladé generace od klasických zpravodajských médií k totálnímu mediálnímu bulváru na internetu ve stylu V.O.X. tv či Deník TO placenými miliardáři s ještě horšími plány, než má spolupracovník STB Babiš. Tady už pak končí veškerá legrace.
Zkrátka, chovejme se a jednejme jako dospělí lidé a zastánci a ochránci demokracie. Ukažmě vždy jasně, že se se zástupci antisystémových stran a hnutí nebavíme a nebojme se nahlas říkat proč.

This is an old Polish speech synthesizer, so Non-polish speakers may have very little interest in using it. Syntezator Mowy SMP came after early hardware-based systems like the "Karol" synthesizer. One of the first Polish hardware speech synthesizers was the "Karol" Speech Synthesizer, developed in the 1980s. It was created by the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN) and was one of the pioneers of speech synthesis in Poland. @BorrisInABox @mcourcel I spent 3-4 hours debugging just the indexing bits because we cannot get a reliable callback when speech utterances end in that driver, the dll is very barebones and all we can do is feed audio to nvwave player not much else. it's very basic.
@BorrisInABox @mcourcel sadly since we pull in the audio data from memory in one go, and unlike DECTalk we don't have dwIndexValue to get boundaries between processed chunks. Very, very bad. Best we can do is pad in our own 0.5 seconds of silence ourselves and hope it's enough to catch the last spoken bit that got cut off. This doesn't fix the pitch and rate (very small utterances) but does announce more control information.

@pitermach Now it works, thank you! Unfortunately, I noticed that the synthesizer generates large gaps between phrases, regardless of the speech speed setting. Do you think it is possible to do something about it?
not really. Without the gaps, speech gets cut off too early at the ends of sentences because the synth doesn't do a proper callback when it has finished speaking. That's an issue in the DLL itself. I just ported it, can't do much if it's an older driver. Maybe others will pick it up and fix it, who knows.

the lack of the option to export all emails in one go is the 1 thing that keeps me from using your services. You can't possibly expect customers to manually select & export all of their messages, if they want to migrate away from Tuta in the future.

Apparently #Tuta still hasn't set a concrete, near term date for the availability of the *option to export all emails in one go*.
So: Customers can easily import their emails to #Tutamail, but they have to manually select and export all of their emails if they want to migrate away from Tuta to a different #email provider.

I would prefer if e-mails matching my spam filter were outright rejected by the server with an error like “address doesn't exist”.
@fatherpat Related: not having to set always 'Always trust sender'. Each time I open tuta, the same message appears for all senders, even those for which I've already trusted. And for the emails which went to spam, setting this should move automatically those emails to the main Inbox and should avoid future messages from the same sender going to spam.

@kurtseifried The main problem in my view is that virtually nobody cares about the CWE. No one ever complains about it or asks for it to get change etc. We basically put a finger in the air during 20 seconds when writing the advisory, search around all the available ones and then go with the one we think is the least bad one. And we never go back to reconsider and no one propose anything else.
So they are all fairly arbitrary but "decent" because we try to pick an accurate one.
