I wrote a book on Linux Memory Management, published by @nostarch - it's a comprehensive 1300 page exploration of Linux 6.0's memory management code, depth-first, diving into the code and REALLY explaining how things work.

The idea is to avoid hand waving as much as possible and literally explore what the kernel _actually_ does.

It's full of diagrams and careful explanations of logic including a ton of stuff you just can't find anywhere else.

It's currently available in its entirety in draft form via early access when you pre-order.

The question is not really who will buy #TSLA, but whether or not anyone will. The real question is whether or not #Tesla has anything fundamentally valuable in the long term that can be bought.

Tesla doesn't really seem to have any technology assets. I can see that maybe their battery manufacturing operations might hold value, assuming anything we have been told about the company is actually true, and we can't be sure, because Tesla's CEO is a liar. But the cars?

Yesterday at the #PlayStation concert, a young, blind man sat next to me.

We got talking and it turns out he is an accessibility consultant for companies, including video game developers and has worked with Sony on God of War and other products!

He goes by his handle: Sightless Kombat.

He is entirely #blind from birth, but loves video games so is passionate about accessibility in the sector.

I told him to come join Mastodon as I think it’s the friendliest social network for visual impairments, he said he was thinking of joining but wasn’t sure which instance was good. I’m not sure if there is one that’s dedicated to visual impairment? I just told him to join mstdn.games 😅
