Just did a simple PR that changed a Ellipsis Char that does not display well on Arch Linux TTY (because it is a newer char), to 3 dots. A simple change.
It was not approved (after much time), although, in all the rest of the source code, 3 dots are used (3 dots is used 26 times in the source code). There is only one instance of the Ellipsis char, and it was this that the PR was changing to 3 dots.
Any of you #blind #linux nerds know what kind of Vudu I have to do to get #Java #accessibility to work on #ArchLinux? Currently using #openjdk 19 but can switch to whatever JDK, as long as I end up with an accessible GUI.

After 3 wonderful and mostly problem-free years with #manjaro I decided to move forward and do what I've been putting off for so long and try Arch ... after much consideration I've decided to forego any installation script and get the full experience with manual installation. @Aaron @x0 @josef Hmm, Most likely I'm very lucky. I'm using #archlinux on various computers for about 10 years and I am not experiencing issues like this. I also have an old laptop I am using once or twice a year. I boot it, upgrade archlinux-keyring first, then the rest and I can move on like normal.

@Archos :distros_arch: :xmpp: Ja mám v základe to isté, ale úmyselne len pre seba a pár priateľov. Všetko z balíčkov ručne konfigurované na #archlinux. Ak by bola užitočná nejaká spolupráca typu sledovať prevádzku, niečo niekam podľa potreby migrovať, dozrieť na aktualizácie, alebo len ako náhradný kontakt, keď pôjdeš na výlet, rád prispejem, čo bude potrebné.
