The #ext4 data corruption issue[1] in #Linux #kernel v6.1.64 and v6.1.65 that was fixed with #LinuxKernel 6.1.66[2] apparently hit #Debian 12.3 bookworm point release[3]. Fixes are in the works, but preparing them will take a bit[4].
Are there any #Linux distributions with #Speakup in them that work on the new #mac machines in #vmare or #utm? I tried #debian 12 and under this distro Speakup froze up at random intervals and locked up the vm. I am starting to think that two different physical machines may be the best for me. #arm64 with #accessibility features doesn't seem to be stable enough yet for prime time.

I know they're a sponsor and all, but I find that running a full vps running either #Ubuntu or #Debian and running the semi-automated install of Hestia Control Panel is far more flexible than shared hosting on Squarespace. The panel does most things in an automated and easy-to-use way, and it is free and open source. Dnes slavím narozeniny. 6.12.2003 jsem na svůj pracovní notebook nainstaloval Debian unstable. Od té doby ho aktualizuju a přenáším na nový hardware. Přežil mimo jiné 2x přešifrování disku (z toho jednou in-place) nebo migraci z i386 na amd64 (prakticky za chodu). A 19 let provozu. #debian #linux #opensource
