@pixelcode auch zwischendurch ist der Netzwerk-Traffic ziemlich heavy. Da ich selbst kein Nostr nutze kann ich aber wenig dazu sagen, ob das normal ist. Wenn aber einmal pro Minute für mehrere Sekunden der Downstream auf ca. 12-14 MBit/s geht, ist das jeweils mehr als 1-2 MByte.
Wie getippst, das kann ich nicht beurteilen. Aber wenn Du magst, kannst Du es ja gern mal mit Koala's Nostros vergleichen (apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid/index/a…) und berichten 😉 @mondstern

Exciting news about #AccessKit: Talon (talonvoice.com/) is one of the first real applications to use AccessKit. In the current beta build (for Patreon supporters), the Talon app core has been ported from Qt to #Rust using the #egui toolkit, and it's now accessible with AccessKit on Windows and macOS (Linux AccessKit support is close, but waiting on a bug fix). #accessibility
awesome! I unzipped both the linux and windows archives real quick, however I found most of the app to be written in, or something heavily powered by, python. What part is written in rust?
@bgtlover The new version, with the app core rewritten in Rust, is only available to Patreon supporters on the beta tier or higher. And that version still uses Python, just not Qt.

I'm really coming to appreciate that while working on an Electron app, with its split between the main process and renderer process. I'm really close to redoing one particular window as a native window in Rust, so I can have fine-grained control over the order of certain actions.
A bit more than four years ago I started the xi-editor project. Now I have placed it on the back burner (though there is still some activity from the open source community). The original goal was to deliver a very high quality editing experience.
