This article by Levi Winslow is both a touching personal story of loosing sight in a meaningful capacity and about accessibility in games. It also shouts out @superblindman for the great work being done for sight impaired people in gaming.
But there’s still a long way to go by many devs and console makers as well (Nintendo has no accessibility controller).

@SuspiciousDuck Takové čekání není nic pro mě. Nebydlím v Praze, takže sandwich na rok zdarma pro první tři by se mi stejně nevyplatil a je pro mě pohodlnější si ten sandwich zaplatit a nečekat ve frontě, i kdybych zvládl být mezi první stovkou. Je to věc těch lidí, jak chtějí trávit čas, ale přijde mi to trochu choré. Ale jednou jsem už ve frontě na otvíračku byl. Kvůli počítači, to se vyplatilo dost. V budoucnu ale podobně výhodné akce moc neočekávám.

Nadšenci do focení, doporučuji PhotonCamera - open-source GCam. Dokáže pořídit až 50 fotek a ty pak složit do jedné pro snížení šumu.

JPG výstup je momentálně nic moc, ale raw výstup je absolutní špička a dokáže se rovnat výstupu ze zrcadlovky.

The AXT1800 "Slate AX" is a really cool little WiFi repeater -- gl-inet.com/products/gl-axt180…

It's cheap, very fast, an re-broadcast a hotel Wifi into a NAT'd private access point, and has built in wireguard which performs at ~450-500Mbit.

It runs OpenWRT, and has a USB port, which means it can ALSO serve as a datacenter/colo serial console.

I've just pushed A/V call commands to the #CLI frontend of #Libervia. I believe that it's the only #XMPP CLI to date with calling capabilities (make and receive calls).

This complete #web and #desktop (#Kivy) implementations.

All thanks to #NLnet / #NGI Assure grant (and hard work!).

Still need some stabilisation work, hopefully will be ready for incoming release.
