New-ish Asus routers seem to enable "Yandex.DNS" by default. This forwards all of your DNS lookups to Yandex, a large Russian search engine. I discovered this on my dad's router when he had troubles accessing his bank from his broadband but not on his phone. (Presumably, the bank geoblocked Russian IPs as a protest to the invasion of Ukraine.)
I get that you need to trust someone with your DNS lookups (your ISP, Google, Cloudfare, etc), but I didn't expect the non-ISP option to be the default...

Ti praví mamuti ale ví, že jsem měl dřív účet ještě u @archos'e na instanci Velkého mamuta! A toto výročí je ještě blíže, konkrétně 28. října 2022. Vskutku čas utíká... 
EU zakázala prodej zahřívaných tabákových výrobků s příchutěmi. Moje značka přišla s alternativou, místo tabáku do náplní dává čaj... Naštěstí se mi podařilo udělat zásobu původních (tabákových) náplní na 1,5 až 2 měsíce, takže si na nové náplně mám čas zvyknout. Zatím jsem použila jen několik čajových náplní, úžasně tím čajem voní i chutnají 😋 Nevím ale, jestli mi to časem nebude vadit, přecejen čeho je moc...

Když jsem bydlel v Česku, čas od času jsem vyrazil prozkoumat německé pohraničí s jednodenní síťovou jízdenkou. Teď dělám občas totéž, jen objevuji Německo z druhé strany. Vloni k tomu účelu byla k dispozici prázdninová jízdenka za devět eur na měsíc, letos se podobná jízdenka prodává za stále výhodnou cenu 49 eur.

U Deutschland Ticket jsou opravdu zmatky s tím předplatným. Třeba BVG (Berlínská veřejná doprava) může na příští měsíc člověk koupit lístek maximálně do 15.

Nevím, zda o tom víte, ale je k dispozici Tangerine UI - alternativní skin pro webový klient, který hodně přibližuje Mastodon k Xku a je pro nově příchozí mnohem přívětivější.
Zkuste na to mrknout a zvážit, zda by to nebyl způsob, jak nově příchozí úplně neodradit a svým stávajícím uživatelům zpříjemnit život.

Re the previous boost, Web Axe (@WebAxe) posted an analysis of Strikethrough accessibility among screen readers and browsers. It's probably an unpopular method but I just don't use strikethrough and stick to plain text as much as possible. Striking out text introduces an unexplained element: Why is it striked out? Sometimes it's part of a joke, sometimes it indicates a permanent change, sometimes a temporary change, etc.
For sales this is kind of a dark pattern intended to create anxiety and fear of missing out. Something like "$100 (normally $200)" is a good bare minimum.
