265 cli options, phew, that's a lot. Now it's too late to change that, but have you ever thought of refactoring the cli options into sub-commands similar to httpie?

Before you ask, this is not standalone. For that someone would need to compile #deltachat_core to wasm and setup some WebSocket proxy because websites are not allowed to open raw TCP connections which are the basis of IMAP and SMTP.
But not impossible, as we could decide to make such a "WebSocket to IMAP/SMTP"-proxy part of the #chatmail project.

I made the #deltachat_web version run as add-on on #HomeAssistant. It was easy, just took me around 2 days. So this is one way to host the browser edition in your local network.
Though I must tell you that I don't plan to maintain this, I just made it because it looked like a fun side quest to #deltatauri. That being said it is totally usable.
Thanks @homeassistant for making add-on development so easy.
In the future it could be nice to also integrate it further into home-assistant, so you can send a delta chat message in automations, like when a leak was detected or sth.
Could be nice to have this with the desktop UI, because it can make setting up bot accounts feels more tangible than just setting a email and password field.
@rtn also nice idea, though the app is already really good.
What could be nice would be some interface where you can select some limited entities/lamps/devices to be controlled by a bot+webxdc and then it creates a group where you can add friends that stay over so while they are in the group they can just control the light and stuff in the guest room and they don't need to download extra apps?
Also works on mobile (#homeassistant app). I haven't setup remote access on my home assistant instance, but since this is integrated over ingress I bet that it would just work.
#deltachat Desktop can now run on Firefox and Safari, entirely avoiding Electron and Chromium! It's an intended side-effect of the "porting Desktop to Tauri" effort led by @treefit@fosstodon.

is it intentional that the 'sidebar' is taking up most of the viewport instead of being a sidebar? part of me thinks if this could hinder with people looking around on the map to check other parkings nearby
is this an official import/organized editing? Only asking because I saw recently some people groaning and moaning about MapRoulette to verify or add crosswalks being accused of breaking norms and rules of that, but seems it's the same workflow
@InsertUser In the best case, yes! However; that is very hard to do. In practice, I usually inspect current aerial imagery, check old imagery if the area has changed and have a look to mapillary. That is often enough to figure out what the current situation is.
And I sometimes had cases where someone actually added a picture with mapcomplete before :)
Used the "English (Vosk Large)" and "English (Vosk Small)" language model with very decent results. There are loads of models to choose from. All processed locally. No network needed! This is great!

I find it really interesting that the Camera Control button is deeply and inextricably linked with the AVCapture system. I wasn't sure if non-camera apps could use it for alternative navigation or interactions but as far as I can tell they can't. It is 100% for cameras and even there for use _during_ the capture session and not any other non-realtime camera app uses.
