Hi there. Yes we do in our paid plans. You can find more details here: tuta.com/blog/secure-email-ali…

@IzzyOnDroid
Hey Izzy, me again here to bug you about adding to the repo. I checked the repos but did not see any PR's to see the pattern needed to submit.
github.com/eddyizm/tempus
I have, what I believe all the fastlane stuff ready but i had one more question regarding the variants.

Should I submit the regular version (github release) or the degoogled version? as they have different icons and different app ids (in keeping with the previous repo pattern) I'm assuming I can't submit both.

in reply to eddyizm

as toots are not really fit for this kind of discussion, I've answered your questions at github.com/eddyizm/tempus/issu…

That said, welcoma aboard #IzzyOnDroid – and to #reproducibleBuilds :awesome:

@FreakyFwoof Part of my debugging involves testing on my local machine. Every time i make a change to a page I'm working on causes a full function server to spin up on my machine on port 5000. Same thing happens for Netlify deploy tasks, they spawn and spawn and spawn again. This is actually a good thing because it makes it so I don't have to spend netlify credits when I test stuff. Luckily, your machine serves like 20 knowledge of JSON which Apache serves up on a platter for folks that ned a net schedule. Sadly, onj 3 gets left out in the cold when it comes to my local server madness. Next week, your server gets turned into a fallback, so if my roar box dies for some reason in la, it'll continue sending its little bits of text, lol. JSON is a beautiful thing.

Let me repeat that. The Austrian federal ministry of economics migrated to Nextcloud Hub. All 1200 employees. The complete Hub with Files, Talk, Groupware, Office and Flow. No test but fully in production since 6 months. People like it. No complains. Other ministries are impressed and want to do the same. People who say that Open Source doesn’t work are wrong.

Je to sice jenom takový snění, ale přesto:

Co byste spíš brali jako druhý e-auto do rodiny?

BMW i3 nebo spíš VW id.3, obojí bazar?

BMW:

- Starší technologie, starší auta
- Horší nebo stejný dojezd 300km+
- Tenký gumy
+ Opravitelný, pravděpodobně věčný
+ Nereznoucí
+ Podle mě vypadá cool

VW:
+ Novější
+ Stejný nebo lepší dojezd 300km+
+ 5míst
+ Normální gumy
- O opravitelnosti ještě nic nevíme
- Klasickej konzern
- Vůbec není cool

Cenově a na kilometry už to vypadá hodně podobně.

Do 500k seženete nádherné ojeté ID.3. Vybrala si auto, zaplatila a pak si jen dojela do Poděbrad pro přepsané auto, o všechno ostatní se postarali a řekli si za to 26 tisíc.

Is Britain going backwards on racism?

Much of that depends whether you think it has moved forward in anything more than superficial terms in recent years.

And to be frank it doesn't much matter what I think, if, the victims of racism think things are getting worse, then whatever the claims of our political class, they are!

Certainly, the recent call for the deportation of settled migrants suggests a normalisation of racism that is highly worrying.

According to data from the Royal College of Nursing, reports by nurses of racist incidents have risen by over 50% in the last three years... and perhaps more notable those incidents have involved patients *and* managers/colleagues.

Its yet one more example of how the rise of ReformUK has granted social license to racists to (once again) articulate and act on their prejudice.

More evidence that the UK is moving backwards on racism? Certainly looks like it!

Was just using #curl to help debug some network configuration issues with a client.

Realised we'd need to fake a hostname mapping to a specific IP, as we haven't set up the DNS aliases yet.

And, because it's curl, not only is there a way to do it, there's several well documented options!

Thanks, curl team!

@amir It's one of the reasons some people prefer the "Update CHannel Selector" add-on, as it does allow you to more easily jump between channels (note that with that add-on, as we also recommend to anyone doing it manually - say an alpha build comes out today and you install that - if you change your mind and switch back to the stable channel, it WON'T change until the NEXT build for that channel comes out.

Ooo, nice, love the conviction!

"Saunders is at pains to point out that absolutely no AI tools were used during his process [restoration], saying that doing so would undermine the entire project.

After stealing all books, art, videos, forum content, and independent web data, and destroying journalists' work, ChatGPT is getting ready to sell all of your personal data and queries to the highest bidder. ChatGPT Ads are coming soon to monetise its massive user base or as sam Altman calls those users free loaders. OpenAI is going to profit massively from artists' work while building a bigger surveillance network. It all legal now.

There's a disturbing pattern with narcissists who rise to powerful positions: They demand special and very obsequious treatment – and they get it. They are allowed almost complete control of the narrative, both of their successes and their failures.

And not just from their cronies and yes-men, but from nearly everyone; even those aligned against them. It sounds crazy, but it's exactly what happens.

Why? I think it's a hack of the politeness impulse.

We're tracking this on our issue at github.com/nvaccess/nvda/issue… and there is a linked Microsoft Feedback issue there too as well as various comments on it. It looks like there might be a Windows update coming which may address this.

I'm old enough to remember when having your photo and fingerprints taken by the authorities was reserved to convicted criminals.

Now it will eventually be all of us.
All of us constantly tracked by governments and corporations alike, requiring our biometric data for anything they feel like.

Our privacy rights are going down the drain under the pretext of security.

But it will not make us safer, on the contrary.
Don't believe their authoritarian lies.

#Spotted at a Country Festival in Aotearoa New Zealand:

A small human (4?) with tiger face paint is facing another bigger small human (5?) with spiderman face paint.
With great authority she announces: "I am a TIGER which is MUCH BETTER than SPIDERMAN. so you HAVE to do what I say!"

Numerous tiny humans and their dads are lined up to sit in a fire engine and to make the BIG HOSE go. Both tiny humans and dads showing equal levels of excitement. This is a FIRE ENGINE. You don't get cooler than that.

A small, stern young human (4?) is fiercely studying an elderly Jersey cow who is calmly accepting all pats as her due.
When Mum asks if Small Human would like to pat the cow he scowls. "That is NOT A COW! It's a dog. You pat dogs!"
Placid Jersey Cow seems unbothered by this bendy taxonomy.

A tiny human (2?) is most insistent that her Care Bear should get to cuddle some sleeping piglets.
The only problem is... how?
Tiny Piglets are snuggled up, snoozing in their hut and she cant quite reach them through the fence.
Hmmm.
Maybe Care Bear cuddles can happen long distance instead.

A young human (4?) is given a precious sausage wrapped in a slice of white bread, tomato sauce* on top.
This is valuable treasure and she's carefully trying to maneuver it into her sparkly unicorn handbag.
But what is this?!
For some inexplicable reason Dad is objecting to this excellent plan.

trying to get anyone to care about the fact that FreeBSD 15.0 is about to be released and the installer doesn't boot on powerpc64le (pSeries / PowerNV) is surprisingly difficult.

re@ is now pestering people to fix it under the threat of declaring it an unsupported platform for the release, but that doesn't seem to be having much effect.

Re: My last post about telepathy, I think the best book that's probably going to be very hard to top that deals with telepathy and being an empath is Joan D. Vinge's Cat series. It describes all the pain that such powers bring, as well as the joys when you find someone who understands you deeper than anyone else and welcomes you. It's really nothing special when it comes to the plot, but it's a masterpiece in my eyes.

Too bad it's not finished, apparently because of Vinge's accident, but it's absolutely worth reading either way.

A conversation brought up an interesting question to discuss, I would be interested in your opionion at least.

A few hours ago I wanted to post about how the imagination of science fiction authors shifted, because we have a longer life expectancy now and a host of things that we really did not have in the 1800s for example. Why that particular century? Because I've watched a video about artists in teh 1800s predicting the future in 2000.

Suppose everyone will be able to feel the emotions of all living things, you can communicate telepathically, even accross long distances. Would these abilities make you a better human? For example by knowing that other people might find out your deepest thoughts, feelings, etc. Would you care, for your own sake?
