#Catima 2.32.1 is out!

This fixes a regression in 2.32.0 which could break text display in the add dialog in non-English languages which I sadly missed in review: github.com/CatimaLoyalty/Andro…

It also contains some translation updates that were submitted between the last release and just now.

#Catima 2.32.0 is out!

This is a minor release which fixes the #Stocard importer (again), adds an accessibility feature to switch between the displayed card with the volume keys (when enabled in settings) and contains some small polish like adding some icons to the add dialog box.

New #Catima milestone: 50K active users on #GooglePlay

Another day, another malicious Open Source app clone on #GooglePlay

Of course, according to Google, this app does not violate the "impersonation" policy. Probably because they're making money off the malicious clone (given it contains ads) but not off the original app.

#sadly you're not getting a similar response here as on #x. I actually put the entire text of your #metatag description into a #google #search...

On top was a link to your #app on #googleplay 🙄

BUT... I scrolled though many results... you're #NOT there... I mean serious, just not there.

Your #Mastodon account comes up well before anything remotely #tuta...

#discrimination comes in so many forms... seems people who speak the #truth are always beat down.

Our latest release is now available both on @fdroidorg and #GooglePlay!

Do you use AntennaPod while on the move? 🚴No more need for acrobatic (and in some places illegal) acts on the bike to skip those ads or go back to catch that comment. Or to take off your gloves to tap the screen while it's cold. 🥶

Version 3.2 now allows you to double/triple-press physical buttons to fast forward or rewind!

Hey, can you give an overview of this library scanner of yours? Is it available anywhere? Looks really useful!

We've been told Google Play transparently shows what data is collected etc, right? And whether an app has Ads? Well, dream on. I've just checked an app to see if it would fit my repo. Below is what Play (play.google.com/store/apps/det…) says about it (no "Ads" marker), then the results from my library scanner.

Careful what you believe and whom you trust.

#Catima has reached 35k active users on #GooglePlay, holding fairly strong at a 4.6 star average. Pretty cool how it keeps growing.

As always, I have no stats for #FDroid as they do not track active installations.

When #GooglePlay introduced privacy labels, I was very curious to see how they managed to get reliable data about the #privacy properties of Android apps. I know first-hand how difficult and time-consuming privacy audits of #Android apps can be. Now Mozilla has taken a closer look, and it seems #Google doesn't even have reliable data.
