Thanks for all the feedback about the previous version, hopefully this provides more info in a clearer way. Let me know if I've missed something or got something wrong.

It might be worth pointing out that not only people with visual and/or auditory impairments benefit from #AltText. It can be useful in many other ways, too.

To me, as an #autistic person whose perception and information processing work in quite different ways, it is not always clear what the point of an image is. Some good alt text can help a lot.

Some clarifying background info in alt text can also be very useful for the general public (which helps to normalise the use of alt text).

hmm, to je docela zajímavá možnost... já teda nový telefon ještě neplánuju, dokud mi funguje ten starý a s AOSP mám spíš jen ty horší zkušenosti, protože věčně něco nefungovalo a byl to takový mezistupeň, než jsem nakonec vybral něco nového. Teď uvažuju, jestli ten další bude iPhone, nebo zůstanu u Androidu. Mám Mac na práci a byť je to drahé, tak jim to prostě funguje a hlavně to podporuje i MS, což u Linuxu je docela problém. Jde mi hlavně o dobrý foťák a výdrž na baterku

the service "AI" provides is to automate authoritarianism under a veneer of fallibility. To operate simultaneously with "unimpeachble objectivity" and also already-assumed failure. Good enough for deportations but without generating liability for lawsuits. "The language model can do everything" and "it's just a language model what can you expect"

Naturally, the only use cases are spam, fraud, and repression.

Nazi camp guards did not detach themselves and become mechanical. They relished in the genocide. They took great pains to express agency, to play cruel games that demonstrated that agency. The Palantir interns behind the keyboards at the deportation machine are alive with the glory of fascism, not numbed by the scale of their violence. The algorithms are a stage, and the performance can't happen without it, but the fascists are the actors, not the algorithms.

Members can add/remove peers also while being offline, and when everything comes online again, everyone has the same consistent membership view. We formalized and ran a simulation model using #TLA+ (invented by Leslie Lamport of vector clock fame):
