Now @mozilla is officially building upon the Fediverse. Their foray will be an instance hosted at mozilla.social.
But I hope they go further than this:
1. Make Thunderbird a Fediverse client
2. Build in-browser Fediverse functionality
3. Support a Fediverse app ecosystem
Mozilla can do so much to further the Fediverse. Let's hope that they think big.

Thanks for reading and taking the time to write. I hear a lot of things as a reporter, and the next part of my job is to verify claims and stories that people tell me. That's what we did in that article, in fact. And the facts just did not bear out that schools were allowing children who identified as cats to use litter boxes.
But I always have an open mind and would love to try and verify your story. Can you tell me how you know that children at [Redacted] are asking the administration to provide them with litter boxes to use instead of the toilet? I have to be honest, as the mother of a middle schooler, and a former kid myself, I remember very clearly how hesitant kids are to use the bathroom at school or even admit that the human body has such needs. The notion that students would poo or pee in a litter box at school seems unbelievable. Logistically, It seems very unlikely! Cats are small! Humans are not!
But as the saying goes, there are more things in heaven and earth, and I'm hoping you'll send some evidence for your claim. Thanks again for reaching out. Hope to hear from you soon!
