Microsoft Windows just got a new Mastodon client!

It's called @ellieapp.

While it's very early access, I love the incredibly minimal interface and the snappy responsiveness.

I'm also glad that a new native Windows app was just released because the main Windows app has been Whalebird, and it's much too Slack-like for my liking.

Features are lacking in Ellie right now, such as Federated feed and the ability to upload photos.

But I like what I see!

I've recently been told about a new single board computer, the NanoPi R6C. It's about three times more powerful than a Raspberry Pi 4 for about the same money as an 8GB Pi4 (if you can find one,) has 2.5GBE and 1GBE ports, built-in EMMC, NVME2 and MicroSD.
I have a silly project that might just be perfect for this board, combined with probably a 1TB SSD.
Interestingly, it ships with Android 12 Tablet Edition out of the box.

This is my attempt to flip Clair by the Singers Unlimited. Slum Village also flipped this sample in their track Players.
I used Demucs to separate the track in to stems, and managed to get the backing vocal and the Clair vocal as seperate tracks so I could mess with them individually. I feel like once audio AI becomes more and more powerful, it's going to change the sampling game.

2016. El gobierno de España, en su lucha contra el fraude, usa imágenes satelitales para detectar impagos de IBI por inmuebles ampliados o directamente nuevos, piscinas incluidas.

Tras una primera batida satelital, que puede contener errores, se lanzaba un dron que realizaba mediciones esta vez precisas.

Se detectaron 1,69 millones de inmuebles infractores y pudieron recaudarse 1254 millones de euros defraudados por nuestros vecinos más egoístas. 👏

Por cada euro que costó el proyecto, se recaudaron unos 16 de IBI.
