IMO, wielka szkoda że z tego gatunku mało tłumaczy się na polski. Jak ktoś lubi, po angielsku jest tego sporo, sporo więcej. Zwłaszcza, że np. “Droga Szamana” na polski była przetłumaczona sporo lepiej niż na angielski. Anglicy to strasznie zamerykanizowali, np. Imiona niektórych postaci zamienili na angielskie, to samo nazwy miejscowości, gdzieś nawet cytat z Puszkina stał się nagle cytatem z Shakespeare.
Rosjanie to była “pierwsza fala”, teraz sporo nowości na tym rynku to już produkcje pochodzące wprost z krajów anglojęzycznych. Taki na przykład Matt Dinnimann podbijał na Audible (taka angielska Audioteka) listy bestsellerów, i to moim zdaniem nie bez powodu. Sporo z tych nowych, angielskich serii zaczynało jako webfiction na Patreonie i jest wydawane jako self-publishing, ze sporym sukcesem. Np. Taki Dinniman z samego Patreona zarabia 45 tys. ł miesięcznie, nie licząc książek patreon.com/dinniman

Finished with Garritan CFX. Authorization part needs some VOCR Mouse gymnastics to drag a license file to interface, but loading preset part is accessible. I need to get someone to map NKS. It sounds great with just presets though. Very satisfied! Instead of paying full $199, bought lite for $59 and upgrade for $79 from Sweetwater.
Also, it loads less than 5 seconds. Maybe it loads stuff in the background, but you can play right away within 5 seconds. I didn't notice any dropouts and stuff. Not sure why Justin setup took minutes to load.
Oh shame. Controls are visible in CFX plugin, but presets browser are not accessible. However, Aria engin is opposit. You can load preset, but can't modify. Ugg
Oh yea I forgot about that they're the same company. Other than having to load a preset with mouse click, it seems pretty usable. I wonder why this thing is so big when it uses like less than 2gb. Maybe it loads more samples as you play more notes with different velocities.

EXCEPT Twitter. Literally no one is on Twitter cheerleading it. There are people hunkering down grimly to defend their territory from harassment, but no one there is cheerleading or promoting it.
Because #Bluesky requires an app and I won't install apps on my phone, I'm running it on an Android #emulator on my desktop. I refuse to get a Tiktok account, but I will view individual Tiktoks. I never got a Hive account because of the whole app thing and even more flimsy BS structure than most. I've had a FB account since the early days when it was for colleges only, but I only log in a couple times a year for work. NEVER used the app.
Right now the #Fediverse feels like a treehouse village full of ewok scientists, #Bluesky feels like the first week of senior year at a gifted college where everyone's doing amphetamines and no teachers are around, and #Twitter feels like a once-popular neighborhood playground where the tarmac is crumbling, it's always twilight, some of your friends are still clustered nervously near the edges, and crowds of bullies are moshing in the center.

I can confirm for DeltaTouch: Voice messages are sent via the core, so if autocrypt is enabled (check for the lock symbol), they're encrypted. @utopify_org @linmob
desktop client is still electron, but we have plans to try out switching to tauri. though tauri is still web-based. But you could probably fork some other messenger app like fractal and convert it to use deltachat core instead of matrix for the backend to have some starting point.
As @lk108 wrote in the blogpost it's not so hard to make your own client ui on top of #deltachat_core
there is github.com/adbenitez/deltachat… so certainly possible to make a TUI client. Though this one is not in active development (still worked last time I tried a few months ago though)

You can download the update from TestFlight. Remember that there are two separate TestFlight betas. The first ended when there was a change in the development team and won't be updated anymore. If you are in that beta, you need to join the new beta to get the new update.

Not surprised. There's so many services out there offering "free VPN" that it's rather sus that any of these services offer anything more than a way to snoop or be nefarious.
There's two classes I feel like everyone should have: Human microbiology with some anatomy and physiology tossed in and a basic identity protection and digital security with some PC 101 in there.
