sometimes a message go to the dark mode while it's normal white on dark mode interface when I do a reply. Only time I see a dark background in messages.
Workaround, select all and change background to white works for me.

@Waxingtonknee Thanks for the feedback! Many end-users requested a version number that has more meaning, ie "year.month", which they find simpler and more meaningful than two arbitrary numbers. Sorry you find it confusing, but we think it's helpful to show users immediately how old (or new!) their version is, with the clear "year.month" scheme.
@Waxingtonknee yes! I personally also agree to it. It is so much better, because the version number also shows a time. There is nothing confusing about it or is it because of American confusing standard date format?

@evilcookies98 I think that may well be the kindest thing you've written to me. True Christianity should never be shoved down the throat of others. My faith should be clear from my work and my conduct. If it isn't then I'm clearly doing something wrong. Of course, I mention it and there are times when it needs to be mentioned but it should never be imposed.

I'm checking out Crypto101. It's a little book explaining cryptography from first principles in a practical way, with examples. It's not meant to take one to the point of being an expert, but to understand what and how modern algorithms like AES work. Asymmetric crypto comes later so I haven't got there yet. crypto101.io/

I'm one of those people, which is why I don't (and can't, I think) just "log in" at the OS level. Still working on getting my partner away from Google so I use davx5 to sync our shared calendar. So looking at the poll results it seems most people are using it to sync with their own (google-unrelated) caldav servers? Is that correct?
@efialto Do you mean the Google Calendar app on Android? DAVx5 should work with that also. You only need to activate to display non-Google calendars in the settings.

Российская сеть по дезинформации в Европе, которую называют «Двойник», связана с сотрудниками «Национальной медиагруппы» (НМГ), сообщило в среду немецкое издание t-online. Комментарии зарубежных экспертов для кампаний ботов в соцсетях, по данным t-online, берут журналисты «Первого канала», «Известий» и «РЕН ТВ», акционером которых является НМГ.
Детали. Издание t-online установило личности двух журналистов из России, которые берут интервью у западных экспертов и политиков. Видео затем попадает на сеть фейковых страниц и массово распространяется армией ботов, работающих в интересах Кремля.
▪️Экспертов вводят в заблуждение относительно целей общения и будущих площадок размещения. В частности, с автором серии исследований о молодежи в Германии Саймоном Шнетцером администраторы «Двойника» договаривались как авторы франкоязычного сайта RRN.media. Однако впоследствии Шнетцер обнаружил видеозапись своего разговора на сайте Wanderfalke, в подводке к интервью утверждалось, что оно рассказывает о серьезности протестов французских фермеров.
▪️Журналисты t-online изучили утечки о журналисте, который разговаривал со Шнетцером и другими экспертами, а также о его коллеге, который договаривался об интервью. Интервьюером оказался Вадим Чайка (на фото). По информации t-online, ему 31 год. Он окончил РАНХиГС. Своими местами работы в сервисе LinkedIn он указал французские телекомпании France Télévisions и TF1. Однако, согласно данным t-online, в 2020-м году работодателем Чайки был «Первый канал», а в 2022 году – газета «Известия».
▪️Вероятно, возраст Вадима Чайки в статье немецкого издания назван неверно — ему не 31 год, а 26 лет. Это подтверждают публикации Radio Canada о голосовании на выборах президента России в 2018 году, где упоминается, что Чайке 18 марта 2018-го было 22 года, и новость РАНХиГС о поездке Чайки на Северный полюс в 2017 году (тогда он учился на третьем курсе университета). В 2017 году Чайка уехал во Францию по программе обмена Neoma Business School. Через год он приезжал в Россию вместе со съемочной группой канала TF-1. В 2021 году Чайка был сотрудником «Первого канала», следует из утечек, с которыми ознакомилось «Агентство».
▪️Второй журналист — Александр (в тексте не называется фамилия) — также работает в «Известиях» и на канале «РЕН ТВ». Ему 28 лет, он окончил МГУ.
▪️НМГ и оба журналиста проигнорировали вопросы t-online. Чайка не ответил и на сообщение журналиста «Агентства».
Контекст. Сайты проекта «Двойник» начали появляться в марте 2022 года. Они выглядят как копии известных изданий, таких как Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Spiegel, t-online, Welt, The Guardian, Le Mond, El Mundo. Однако пишут совсем не так, как те СМИ, которых они копируют: «двойники» распространяют нарративы российской пропаганды. После теракта в «Крокус Сити Холле» появилась фейковая страница Spiegel, которая изображала Украину спонсором терроризма. Публикации «двойников» распространяли боты в соцсетях, в том числе на платформе X (бывший Twitter).

I use a quick crypto.FNV32a-based fix for short cache-busting fingerprints that doesn’t directly rely on the unstable .Key method. I use Hugo’s crypto.FNV32a to generate a short hash, then copy the resource to a new path with that fingerprint.
