Dann könnte es sein, dass die Beschreibung nicht dem Basis-Attribut wheelchair_description sondern dem mit der Erweiterung der Sprache zugeordnet wurde, z.B. wheelchair_description:de
Wie mir der Support mitteilte, arbeitet man aber daran, auch die Sprachdefiition zu berücksichtigen.

Something about starter packs that I think gets lost when they're discussed on Mastodon:

The power of starter packs is not in some centralised mega list of say "Black people in tech," curated by some central authority. The power is in a million tiny "Black techies I follow" lists curated by everyday users.

The losers that think being trans means being white and trans, hopped over from Mastodon to BlueSky, and put me on their "transmisogyny list."🤷🏿‍♂️

But Black trans people, and white trans people that aren't racist and can see Black people, put me in their starter packs.♥️

I don't want to be in community with the fashy white trans people that don't like Black trans people. I prefer the white trans people that like the Black and brown trans people.

I don't like everybody. It's OK if they block me.

Black developers are building on Blue Sky.

Shout out to everyone who will read this, and instead of saying "How do we get them to build for Mastodon/Activity Pub?" Will froth at the mouth about fake federation and the inevitable corpo takeover.🤡

I have the fairphone 3, and I run LineageOS on it, to be google-free. In my experience the fairphone is fine, but it's not an equivalent of a flagship android phone. I usually say that I pay a convenience fee for my principles (part of my reasons to choose fairphone is the ethical production). Coming from an iphone I would expect you to run in to some annoyances that may or may not be worth it to you. (Cont.)

The phones are certainly much cheaper than flagship android phones and you can run an open source OS on them. So if you want to get away from big tech the fairphone is a decent option, but that would require you to install another OS on your phone. It's not particularly hard but it it work. I would recommend calyxos.org/ but there are other good open source OS'es available for the fairphone 5.
As for reparability: if the fairphone 3 is an indication repairing fairphones is great!

We’ve submitted a formal petition to cancel the JavaScript trademark: it is generic, Oracle has abandoned it, and Oracle committed fraud on the USPTO during the last trademark renewal.

Oracle has until January 4th to respond, or the case will go into default, which will result in the trademark being canceled.

It's time to #FreeJavaScript.

I installed #Signal and #Conversations_im on a clean install of #GrapheneOS on my Pixel 4a and measured the battery impact. The results are shocking!

Both messengers had only one contact: my regular phone.

I used my regular phone to send messages to the Pixel 4a (which was not used for anything else over the course of the experiment).

I always sent the same message via Signal and #XMPP (mixing up which app went first). In total I sent ~32 messages in intervals of 10mins to a few hours.

Battery usage stats from an Android phone. The battery is down to 10% after 20 hours since last full charge. Signal has consumed 95% in that period and Conversations 5%

A PSA for people active on #Bluesky: your block list is PUBLIC information.

A website that tracks Bluesky stats – which I am not naming here on purpose – makes this job super easy: you can enter *any* username and see the accounts a user has blocked.

(Yes I tested it with my account and was horrified)

I'm alarmed by this because the information could be weaponized for abuse.

Muting may be the safer choice then?
