Google had accepted a version of #Conversations_im with address book integration that explicitly asks the user for consent to process the contact list locally on their device before requesting contacts permission. Our privacy policy included explicit wording w.r.t. local processing of the contact list.
However it’s unthinkable for Google that someone would request contacts permission and then not upload them. A few days later they changed their mind and threatened to remove the app again. #XMPP

I tried arguing with Google for a while however their 7 day deadline to admit publicly that I'm uploading the contact list is running out tomorrow so to not risk the app being removed again I was forced to publish a version without address book integration.
It seems like you can only have an app that requests contacts permission on the PlayStore if you boldly declare that you upload them.
In the meantime, the WhatsApp client does not even offer basic features until you give it address book permission (you can't initiate a new chat, for instance). But I guess Meta has proven that they don't do shady stuff, so that's all good.

Interesting, I just tried this in latest Firefox on the Mac with VoiceOver as well, and in the first example, the column and row headers are reversed when they are spoken, so instead of saying „ISBN & 13“ like Safari and VoiceOver do, VoiceOver will say „13 & ISBN“. Same with row headers. It will speak the author first and then the region. I’ll defer to @jcsteh to answer whether there is already a bug for this. Since for the Cache The World project, the whole table support has been completely rewritten, and this was after the Firefox version you tested, it is worth revisiting the Firefox results on Windows I think. I no longer use Windows currently, so am not set up to test that myself. But yeah, tables have always been hard to get right.
@Marco Firefox walks column and row headers backwards. It should be easy enough to reverse the array before returning, but I'm not sure whether that's always the desired result. In some cases, I would've thought nearest context first would be more useful for user efficiency. @aardrian

Literally the only reason I was preferring wget in the past was not having to write the -O parameter. Nowadays I usually try curl first, but switch to wget if it isn't installed on the system I'm on (which does happen, as unbelievable as it sounds).

It may seem stupid but it's actually really nice when you simply need to type "wget" and don't have to move your right hand off the mouse to middle-button paste the url.
Anyway `wget` has always felt more like a user-facing command line file downloading utility where `curl` is more of a toolbox/library for crafting arbitrary HTTP requests. wget has a nicer UI, retries, partial downloading, batch downloading, recursive downloading, ...downloading.
