ya know, I never know what to say to someone when their grieving. Nothing I say will make the pain go away, and I hate sounding generic, sorry for your loss, sorry you're having this experience, I hate it because it makes me feel like I don't care, I know I do and they might too but in the end, it's still painful, and I just want to say something meaningful.

This is one of the reasons I hate talking about loss — it seems so insensitive to repeat something they have heard a hundred times — however somehow worse to try and say more. This is multiplied ten-fold when you do not know the person that is being grieved

Ich hab mir gerade meinen ersten "Plötzlich Long Covid" Text durchgelesen, den ich vor 10 Monaten geschrieben habe und ich komm mir jetzt rückblickend so naiv vor! Damals war ich überzeugt davon, dass ich die Erkrankung in 3 Monaten bewältigt haben werde und sah es als kurzweilige Episode, die wieder vorübergeht. In der Zwischenzeit war ich an ganz persönlichen Tiefpunkten - nach der Reha und nach dem Krankenhaus - die für mich zuvor nicht einmal vorstellbar waren.

I’ve been on Fedi for a year now and have fallen in love with the platform, so here’s my introduction! I studied computer science with a focus on RTOS and FP/PL, but I’m about to start my final semester of law school. I’ll be practicing at a boutique firm that primarily handles IP cases once I’m barred. I foilboard and I play way too many rhythm games in and out of the arcade.

In the Windows bit, a process is not responding, and Windows comes over and says, “Sir, you are consuming too much resource and you are not responding.
