Literally gave a less senior colleague this advice a few weeks ago: it’s okay to volunteer to be the person to step up to handle the new emergency BUT you also gotta say what you’re doing currently that’s now gonna be delayed/late because of the new thing you’re taking on.

You can’t absorb a new responsibility without impacting an existing one, and if you’re not vocal about that, you’re punching yourself in the face.

Inzwischen gibt es ein paar mehr Presseberichte zum faschistischen Angriff auf einen Heim der Lebenshilfe für behinderte Menschen in Mönchengladbach.
Der große Aufschrei bleibt jedoch aus.

Die Taz hat ein Interview mit dem Geschäftsführer der Lebenshilfe geführt.
Ich frage mich:
Warum werden Bewohner*innen nicht befragt, interviewt? Warum werden Menschen mit Behinderung nicht befragt?

es haben sich viele Betroffenen im Netz auf Sozialmedia geäußert.
Ziel der Botschaft auf den Steinen (die ich hier nicht wiederholen möchte) waren die Bewohner*innen und allgemein behinderte Menschen.

Der Geschäftsführer weicht zudem die letzte Frage elegant aus und suggeriert, Heim = Inklusion. Also Geld dorhthin = Inklusion. Heime sind aber erst recht "separater Teil der Gesellschaft " (Ausdruck aus der TAZ Frage) und keine Inklusion u.
Es braucht echte Inklusion in allen Bereichen. Wir, Menschen mit Behinderungen, gehören mitten drin in der Gesellschaft. Es braucht Sichtbarkeit für unsere Kämpfe. Den Abbau von Stereotypen.

#KampfGegenRechts, gegen #Faschismus heißt auch Kampf gegen #Ableismus und für echte #inklusion Unterstützung der Kämpfen behinderter Menschen.
