nice. My only criticism so far is that the themes have gone. Iโ€™ve had my versions of LiO with the green theme for the last 10-15 years or so and now the themes are down ti just a couple, mostly coordinating with just the light or dark system backgrounds instead of all the various patterns and color schemes.

Iโ€™ve trashed 25 and re-installed the latest 24. As soon as my MacBook M1 Pro switched to dark mode everything went black on the page and dark on the tool/side bars and no matter what theme I tried or how I changed the colors in appearance manually, everything stayed dark, even this morning after I waited for the system to come out of dark mode LiO didnโ€™t. I love LiO but something isnโ€™t right with 25, at least on ARM Macs running Sequoia.

#Movuary day 14: The result of having a portable radio connected to Move's line-in jack is that occasionally you hit 'Sample' at a time when you can make a beat out of the resulting thing. In this case, it's an advert for an event happening on whatever date it was, between '8 till 10' and so this clip became the basis of my pointlessness.

FediMeta, blocklists update

I have added parcero.casa to FediNuke. sorry for the delay.

See receipts

Sorry for being less active lately; I should have used the override process earlier. It is at consensus. By the time I added it, the domain stopped resolving. It replaced the old domain on FediNuke. If it stays down, I will eventually remove it altogether.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ณ :opensourceparrot: Some folks have asked how our efforts are going helping governments be good open source citizens as they leverage free software to provide public services.

๐ŸŽ‰ The answer is: Things are going very well, and they're getting better every week.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ณ Our UNDP digital team is taking on really meaningful and interesting work in helping countries use technology in ethical, responsible ways. And filling a bunch of #internships. Fully #remote, around the world, and flexible around individuals' schedules.

๐Ÿฆ While there's a stipend, it's low. Our leadership is working hard to break a long history of unpaid internships in the #UN, but there is still a distance to go for fair pay.

The blast radius of a toxic contributor in an open source project is mostly invisible.

If you're a community leader you need to understand that for every prominent developer loudly driven out there were hundreds, maybe thousands of people who could have done great work, who could have been your next generation, looking at how your people treat people, at the bar your community has set for decency or dignity, silently taking their talents elsewhere, that you didn't see.

Last weekend the Open Film Database (ofdb.cc) received another update, which included the migration from #WordPress (Blog) and #DokuWiki (Wiki) to #Drupal, front-end improvements for TV shows, improved cast editing, and more!

The #OFDb is a database for movies and TV shows with its data published under an open license (Open Database License). Everyone can participate and add more titles. The more the merrier!
