Update: i got a response from an info email address with an apology and a Dropbox download link. Unfortunately, clicking the link tells me I don’t have permission to access the file.
Update again: after two more email exchanges, I now have a working password, and they uploaded the file on my server directly so I can access it. I have no idea what will happen with updates, but I'll jump off that bridge when I come to it.

I don't like that you explicitly state "poorly implemented". Yes, maybe, but no reason to shit on the developer when they are unpaid and not the actual issue here. That's insensitive and uncalled for.
it’s not so black and white. If you are an unpaid maintainer you have no obligation to put in extra work, for sure. But if you do take down the banking system of a country once (still not your fault!) and people tell you your library is broken… I think you start having a responsibility to either deprecate it, fix it, or at least warn users. We live in a society.

@menelion I played the clips back in VLC and took note of the times where I wanted to trim the clips, then just used ffmpeg commands in Terminal to output the trimmed sections as their own video files. I write out a list of the order I wanted the clips to be put together, then run another command to turn them all into one final cut based on that text file. I can also add effects, potentially add audio, filters, and more, just need to keep playing with it. works great with TDSR.
I (and many others) are convinced that the #AI hype bubble is gonna burst at some point, but I haven't seen many talk about what actually happens when it does?
I believe that when the bubble bursts, the word ‘AI’ will no longer be an attractive marketing term, and will go out of fashion due to its connection to a market crash. AI companies like OpenAI and Anthropic will cease to exist in the same way that dotcom companies did in the early 2000s.
That doesn't mean that AI technologies as a whole will go away. Creeps will still use them to produce non-consensual deep fake porn. War criminals will still use AI in their murderous technologies. Internet spammers will still use large-language models to overflow our information ecosystems with slop.
When the AI bubble bursts, the tech industry will have reached the end of its decades long growth cycle, and will accept its role as a legacy industry at the same level of the auto industry, construction industry, hospitality industry or many other industries.
Microsoft, Google, Apple, Amazon and other Big Tech-companies will still exist due to them already being embedded in our economies, but they will finally stop trying to hype up new technologies, because there is no ‘next big thing’.

This here is a ringtone I made in 2020 called Unify, inspired by a patch from Soundspot's Union called "Big Pants Lead," which I'm using as the chord patch here. For how simple it is, just the chords, a bass and some drums, all pretty basic, this thing is ridiculously catchy IMO. My mom still uses this as her phone's ringtone to this day. #AudioMo day 20: More ringtones! This one was made in March of 2021 and is called On The Move. It was also inspired by a sound, namely the bass patch, which is a modified version of the Phat Funk patch from the Korg Arp Odyssey plug-in. I was playing with it and came up with this bassline. This one has two versions. The original version of it had no arp stabs and no lead. When I was later advised to add those, I made a lite version, which includes the arp stabs but mutes the lead, which you hear first. Then you hear the regular version.
