Ist bei @disroot eigentlich noch jemand zu Hause? Haben vor 3 Wochen versucht, für jemanden dort einen Mail-Account zu registrieren. Der steht bis heute auf "pending approval", also mehr als die per automatischer Mail angegebenen 48h. Support-Anfrage per Mail vor 3 Tagen auch nur auto-reply, dass man innerhalb 24h antworten würde.
Erwarte ja keine "instant action", aber so gar keine, ist irgendwie seltsam (und wenig vertrauenerweckend)…

I understand blocking AI crawlers from your personal sites, but its usually to aggressive. Now 50% of the time that I post a link into Slack, it does not expand because Slack Bot crawling is forbidden by robots.txt. - Same is true for a bunch of other bots that need to read a site for OG Metadata.

BTW jsem pro zákon označovat všechen AI obsah, jinak bude během několika let (nejen) Youtube skoro nepoužitelný, nebude se dát filtrovat. A vše bude růst exponenciálně: porostou nároky na energii, poroste množství podvodů a lží, bude se melancholicky vzpomínat na dobu před AI. V rukou mentálně nedospělých lidí je AI zlo.
@sesivany To bych uvítal. Ale mám obavy, že i kdyby se tak stalo, tak stejně zbyde míň kvalitní a levnější AI, po kterém tvůrci sáhnou a tomu přehlcení online prostoru se společnost nevyhne. Proto už by dnes měla být zákonná povinnost označování AI obsahu, jinak se nebude dát vyfiltrovat při hledání.

Hi very good in prossess. I think manually creating a shortcut for nvda has got some disadvantages in comparison to the one that the installer creates. For example the manual shortcut won't restart nvda. It will only start nvda if it is not running at all.
@nikosdemetriou I vaguely recall something about the shortcut from a number of years ago, but I just checked with NVDA 2025.3.2 and the shortcut as created with the instructions in In-Process will restart NVDA - of course it is easier to check the box and let the installer create the shortcut, but sometimes that doesn't happen, or the shortcut gets deleted etc.

This effect minimizes the appearance of harm. It can be a blessing, but it also means you won't always see the problems inherent on these platforms.
Give it to a popular speech synthesis engine, ETI Eloquence, or Eloquence TextToSpeech on Android, to not mispronounce stuff when they are incorrectly spelled. Strategy...being the word in reference. Eloquence says it correctly even if people type Stratogy. eSpeak immediately says something I can't even make other synthesizers replicate. The place where I most often see this horrible mistake is on forum.audiogames.net, but I don't go on about it there, because it's not the user's fault that the speech engine they use does not alert them to the mistake. I do read braille, mostly to help me with my work, as most of the folks CVs I have to process, have African names, and speech, no matter which synthesis engine, break African names royally. Just...fix Stratogy on eloquence so it actually pronounces it wrong...then that illusive E in the middle will replace the incorrect O.
@Bri It's often encountered in discussions about SoundRTS, or similar realtime strategy games. I don't scroll in the agnet forum too often, because of workload, but saw stratogy pop-up again yesterday evening while checking for new releases. I can't remember which topic exactly now, else I might have posted so you could see what I am squektalking about.

I know I use AI a whole lot lately, but people are vastly over-estimating the capabilities of it and thus using it for all kinds of things they shouldn't! One giant example is that hardly anybody writes anything themselves anymore. Look, being well-written used to be something to be proud of. Now, I beg anyone and everyone to just write things yourselves! I'd almost go so far as to say, the less well-written whatever it may be is as long as it's still getting the intended message across, the better! At least it won't be full of false positivity, more emojis than the Apple Keyboard and more lists than...A person who loves lists! Very Sincerely: someone who is quite saddened by both companies and individuals making writing so much more boring!
Oh just so many articles I've ran across that were obviously at least partially written with AI. Sometimes it is hard to tell in parts, so I'm always questioning it, which is what I think the real cause of the annoyance of myself and some others I've seen on here is they're always questioning what they're reading.
I have no words for what vispero just sent all of it's customers, except to say that it is absolute and complete rubbish. It wasn't parcially written by AI it was an AI generated post. No wonder why the product or products are going downhill.
I don't make that leap. I'm sure the person who was responsible for publishing that crap post is not the same person(s) responsible for manufacturing the products.
I don't mean to be blunt, and ask your pardon, but if the most important part of the company, the marketing which generates sales and the sales department, is being tossed at AI, why wouldn't the less important parts which can be ignored in most cases be filled with AI as well? Developement isn't that important compared to sales. Jaws is more or less done at this point, new features are either too far a reach or require ideas which people don't have. The same may be said of magnification generally, right? Why not dump everyone who knows what's going on and milk it for all you can?
One of the coolest things for Rhythm Heaven fans, Heaven Studio, now has a mod to make it screen reader accessible! I've been having such a blast playing this thing! Go into that, then there should be things like MellonLoader, and other items. Select all, then paste them into the root of your Heaven Studio folder, then load Heaven Studio.exe, and enjoy!
One thing I forgot to mention, controls in case anyone's stuck. Use W, A, S, and D to move around in menues. Use K to go forward, and J to go back. While in the level menu, press I to cycle between a menu with settings, import ETC, and the built-in levels. Press escape to pause. Hope this helps!
Having to step back when you don't want to is one of the hardest things you can do, but if it's necessary sometimes what you want to do and what needs to happen are two different things. Doing the needed but harder thing shows strength. It sucks, I know, but also understand that it's not the end of the world. Things will improve.
