The first live streaming of (hopefully) a long series went fairly well. The plan is to show the full process of getting a feature into Thunderbird, going through every steps of the planning, designing, and coding stages out in the open.
I admit that this is a bit weird because I’m doing this entirely on my own, trying to not affect my team or distract them from the other tasks, as this is a nice feature to have but hasn’t been prioritized.
The even weirder part is gonna be asking for reviews and feedback to documents, designs, and code, considering that most of the other folks in the team will look at these things and say “wait, WTF is this?” 😅

Earlier this week, #SpaceX launched it's 7,001st Starlink satellite! 🤯 Now, some are retired or failed, and so Jonathan MacDowell's stats say that there are currently 6,396 Starlink sats in orbit. Regardless, that is a HUGE number of satellites!
And they just launched 21 more Starlink sats yesterday!
Amazing to see how launch technology has evolved over these years.
