Ide o správu vypracovanú pre Európsky parlament a následne prijaté uznesenie, ktorým Parlament formuluje svoj politický postoj. Running a heater takes major wattage. A battery backup will only take you so far. People need to be making a bugout plan if they don’t have an alternate means of heating their home for at least 72-hours.
Also, it shouldn’t need to be said but running a gas stove or propane heater indoors is a no-go.

Hi all. Hope everyone is having a good Sunday so far. It's the last day of my vacation until Wednesday and then there'll be another break. It'll be quiet for the most part. I'll be going to a yoga class with a sound bath late this afternoon which will be lovely. Then just waiting to see what the latest storm will bring.
I took the last couple weeks off, but not the 2nd I'm pretty sure, so I have one day, then the weekend. But then I'm writing some documentation for a piece of Linux accessibility infrastructure that I maintain, and I need to clean it up, and a release is due on Saturday, so I have work to do anyhow. I'm really glad that I'm allowed to work on that when I don't have other important things to do, since it's kinda my responsibility regardless, unless someone takes it over from me. But then i might also have other things to work on, so we'll see. Sorry--I'm just rambling at you now, but I kinda wish I was off until the 5th.
@MikeGorse I didn't officially take Wednesday off but I'll talk to my supervisor tomorrow (unless we are home from the crap weather). Showerthought: Suno is The Sims for music. You can have a lot of fun with Suno, and even share some cool stuff. But nobody would share a livestream of The Sims and call it a movie. In the same way, creations made by Suno are neat, but they're an entirely different genre of thing than human music. Also, some of us have fun torturing our creations in both Suno and The Sims. Because Suno is incapable of saying "No, a modern pop version of that would not work and should not exist". As someone entirely nonmusical, it really does feel like having a musician trapped in my basement that I can torture with all of my impossible bad ideas.

So installing Windows 11 LTSC alone did actually fix most of the Asus Driver issues I had. Wifi, bluetooth, and audio/speaker drivers work again. Still had to load the drive driver at installation, but well that was all. Glad I actually didn't have to bloat it with that stupid My Asus app and to have a suitable Laptop again. It's weird, I could've sworn it had 32 GB of Ram but can only see 16. Well I guess my brain is just rotting away...

Me: My friend, let me introduced you to KeePassXC, a free and opensource password manager for Windows/Linux/macOS desktop and Android (KeePassDX/KeePass2Android) app. There is also KeePassium for iOS which is free and has a pro version too. You can do cloud sync if you want.
You know both Android and iOS have built-in password managers that come pre installed. I just don't see any reasons for these days not to use any password managers. Your financial safety is in your hands. Please take care of it.

Was quite the go to in my blindie bubble for years, feel like many have ditched it for Discord at this point, including me, but still works great and simple. My laptop is set up about six feet away from the nearest wireless access point. For various reasons, I can't use Ethernet in the part of this house where I am most of the time.
There is no good reason why I am seeing latency spikes up to 200 MS, not to a remote server in Australia, not to my first internet hop, not even to my local router, but the access point itself.
Somewhere in this house, I have a never-used PoE switch. It's tempting to find that, connect the AP, my laptop and a couple of other devices directly to that switch, and probably get less latency to stuff even though the backhall to the rest of the world will still be wireless.

Místo toho fouká zase ostrý studený vítr, je šedivo a občas kolem prolétne malinký bílý osamocený drobeček. No nic. My si ten den rozsvítíme jinak. Jeho Lordstvo bedlivě sleduje dění v kuchyni. Potomci si chystají snídani a tudíž je jisté malinké procento naděje na získání něčeho dobrého. Sir Artur se oddává studiu ornitologie u zasypaných krmítek. Obávám se, že i on se opájí nadějí na 'kousek něčeho dobrého'. Přede mnou stojí talíř s neubývající zásobou cukroví, sušeným ovocem a voňavá káva. Takže také cosi dobrého.
