@leonardder I was undecided which way to suggest originally - I usually fall back to the most useful common steps (get into the settings, and go from there) - but you're right, if you are a Braille user, I'm still not sure if you'd use it all the time (many people will set it up how they want and leave it) but in any case, then this is useful enough to know, and most of the settings categories have a (relatively sensible) shortcut key. I've updated the steps accordingly.

I replied that I needed a sticker for my curling broom, as well. And Daniel graciously offered to send me a handful of stickers, with "payment" being a picture of the sticker(s) applied.
Today I pay my debt.
Curling season has started, I showed my team the stickers Daniel sent, and told them the story. Though none of my teammates are particularly familiar with curl, they so loved the story of a kind stranger sending stickers halfway across the world just to spread a little joy, that they all wanted to put curl stickers on their brooms.

The story takes place in the years before and during the Nazi occupation of France in World War II and features Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie as its most recognizable stars. He's a tinkerer who becomes adept at building and repairing all types of radios. She's blind and is equally fascinated by the radio because she listens nightly to a shortwave broadcast, aimed at kids, hosted by a mysterious ham operator who calls himself the Professor. In Paris, Marie is inspired by the Professor's messages of hope. I would suggest using #Pixelfed for your photos since you can upload more than 4 images through it. Or, any other Fediverse software; avoid Mastodon when it comes to images/gallery: (1) you can only upload max 4 images; and (2) anything beyond 4 attachments, Mastodon sends it to the blackhole. It's not a bug, it's by-design, still, it should be “fixed”.
@youronlyone The "blackhole" issue is frustrating. I have found that most followers of my Pixelfed account are on Mastodon. If I post more than 4 photos, not only will those people not see more than 4 photos, they won't have any indication that they are missing anything.
Similarly, any location or copyright information added in Pixelfed just disappears on Mastodon.
I too would prefer to focus on Flickr for photos, but I am doubtful if they will ever join the Fediverse.
Another for-profit company I appreciate: Cockos, who make the Reaper Digital Audio Workstation. Linux support, minimalism, performance centric, very user friendly, ethical licensing practices, generous trial period, lots of great features, etc. It's been great to use so far!

Seems like this technique could be easily bruteforced by a dictionary attack, despite being a longer number of characters.
Personally (I'm no expert) I use a password manager. Most of my passwords are 128 characters (longer than four average words) that also use special characters, numbers, upper and lower case characters. Using a physical key such as a #Yubikey seems a better way, too.

me? i have a one base for password, few suffixes and i use an interpunction inside. easy to remember and practically i can have different passwords for different websites ;)
I like the ones that try to be secure by making sure I use exactly 8 characters, with at least one number and one capital and one symbol. Great. Now I can't remember it and it's super easy to brute force. Luckily those are few and far between but I still find that not being able to just use four words in pretty much any password field.
Sat down at my computer just now, which was switched on over night, and upon pressing a key #NVDA said: "Date updated to Nov 5". I've never heard an announcement like it, and have no idea where it came from.
A quick search of the NVDA source tree suggests that it didn't come from NVDA itself. Maybe a misguided UIA notification that was recently added to Windows? I assume you're running Windows 11.
Oh weird. I'm also still on Windows 10. Windows 10 is now the good old version of Windows that a lot of us really don't want to do a so-called upgrade from. Like Windows 7 and XP before it.
@James Scholes @Matt Campbell I am usually getting notifications like this on both windows and linux when the time is automagically adjusted as a result of daylight saving switch or when the timezone changes while traveling. Might this be similar?
