I've actually had this exact same experience. Was near Gmail quota and deleted fedora-devel and bought myself some more time since I refuse to pay* due to the stubborn Midwest principled suffering of my upbringing.

Řešili jsme se ženou, že nám děti tráví dost času na tabletech. To by ani nevadilo, ale problém je ten obsah plnej reklam, co si tam natahaly. Reklamy jsou implementované stylem jednoduché hry a pro další postup je vyžadována instalace.
Když teď vyšel nový PiHole, tak jsem ho zkusil nahodit na naší LAN síti. Většina reklam na tabletech zmizela. Zarazilo mě ale to brutální množství zablokovaných domén. 70 % našeho DNS provozu PiHole blokuje. Na grafu je i vidět, kdy byly tablety online.
IMHO blokování na úrovni DNS je dnes nezbytnost na každém mobilním zařízení. Dřív jsem to blokoval v Unifi Dream Machine, dneska používám AdGuard, aby to fungovalo i mimo naši domácí síť.
Oni mají víc produktů. Ale toto zrovna je DNS. Zadarmo má člověk daný filtr, za peníze si pak ta pravidla může upravovat. adguard-dns.io/ Ale nejsou jediní, kdo to má. DNS blokující reklamy má i Mullvad a další. Já první vyzkoušel AdGuard a už u něj zůstal.

@jackc jako kdybych to měl jen pro sebe... Ale nechci řešit, že to lidem přestane fungovat, protože se něco stalo s RPi nebo u nás padl Internet... Jinak já používám ten jejich free server, nemám tam žádný účet, připojuji se k tomu přes VPN, kterou sdílím s hromadou dalších lidí, takže nějakého trackování se nebojím, i kdyby to dělali.
@Adam Štrauch Vďaka za inšpiráciu, tiež som nasadil pi-hole. Trochu sa obávam, či to nebude blokovať aj nejaké weby, ktoré by mohli chcieť naši navštíviť, príp, či ich nebudú niektoré weby upozorňovať na zapnutý blokovač. Ale samozrejme uvedomujem si aj to, že boj s reklamami je nekonečný.
@pvagner Jednotlivé zablokované domény jdou povolit. Co jsem hledal, tak lidi reálně naráží jen na to, že kliknout na reklamu třeba na Googlu a ono je to vezme nejdříve na zablokovanou doménu pro trackování. Já jinak neměl problém za ty dva dny.

Damn, just realized that the [Lantern's "Unbounded"](unbounded.lantern.io/) uses WASM version of Pion (Go WebRTC library). I didn't expect "native" libraries to support browsers' WebRTC API.
There is no easy-to-install version for normal users yet though. If you want to try it out, you’ll need to build it from source (all you need is install Go). See the proxy/README.

It's the classic FOSS funding problem: use and adoption are at an all-time high, wealthy companies and countries use it, and secure decentralized comms have never been more important. And yet we can't pay our bills.
Did you get the funding in the end? The OFTC bridge is still running to this day despite the blogpost saying it would shut down by the end of March if you didn't get $100k by then.
The communication regarding that wasn't very transparent generally, since the blog post it's basically radio silence on Matrix.org's side. Only update I noticed was from the good folks at OFTC, who also don't know much about the current situation anyway.
@vitali64sur radio silence is because we've been focused on fundraising and anti-abuse, while trying to find a reprieve for the OFTC bridge. We think we have a solution, and should be able to update this coming week.

I have thunderbird installed. The main Feature in the video seems to be, that I can lift the components in a 3D view and put them together as I want. I couldn't do that with my Thunderbird. Do I have to press a shortcut to get the 3D view?

I installed it on my Android phone (for use with multiple IMAP accounts) recently and I am very impressed with it. I have happily used the desktop version for years.
