I managed to find a copy of the DeluxePaint II Enhanced (IBM/DOS) manual and had it shipped from the UK to the US at some cost. It came in the mail today. I scanned it and uploaded the PDF to archive.org, since there doesn't seem to be a scan of it anywhere that I could find on the internet (until now, you're welcome). One thing I want to note--given my wrist situation, almost all of the game's art was drawn by voice.

The software itself gave me a lot of trouble though, so I've decided to make a fork and do further dev & maintenance on it.

While I don't know how many people would use it, I think idea of a #PixelArt editor designed for hands-free #accessibility might have legs and I want to explore that further.

"Crossing the Mist", a quick #PixelArt sketch made using @davidrevoy 's voted color, #5b7376 !

This general idea jumped into my head immediately when I saw the prompt, and it was a lot of fun to make. I've been busy, so sitting down to make another landscape was a real treat!

A lone wizard rides a dragon across a grey and foggy seascape, towards a great ruined bridge. Light from the keep connected to the bridge indicates the presence of others, and atop the bridge stands a small group with torches. Far in the distance, partially obscured by the mist, rises a titanic humanoid figure.

Wow, it’s kind of nuts how a redraw of a character can look radically different.

I feel like I did a pretty good job of capturing a Sierra look-and-feel for the second sprite. Anyway, here’s my sad fisherman. #PixelArt

The original version is a bit more round in shape and a little more cartoonish-looking: he's wearing a straw hat and overalls. The second character, on the right, is dressed more like a traditional fisherman, and is depicted with a leaner build, a more blushed complexion, and more distinct shading.
