Can #LibreOffice experts walk me through saving a document into clean, and simple, HTML? Microsoft Word has a save option to save as filtered HTML and that gets rid of the font tags and spans and stuff but does something similar exist for LO?

We're getting closer and closer to #LibreOffice 25.2, our next major release – due in early February! And the second release candidate is now available for testing: qa.blog.documentfoundation.org… #foss #opensource #freesoftware

Has anybody come across a nice free resume template for #libreoffice (@libreoffice)?

Everything I come across is shady template sites and not so nice looking templates.

My question is: when you release this new version I have to get a new portable #LibreOffice or just click on update?

i use LibreOffice at my work for docs and spreadsheet work. Also use it to generate my Church backgrounds for our livestream and also to transform PDFs into fillable forms as well. It’s an essential tool in the box without the MS baggage of AI stuff and forcing cloud storage of docs. #libreoffice

Bijdrage €25 overgemaakt met iDEAL. Mocht ook wel na 5 jaar #LibreOffice.

I use #LibreOffice as my standard ofimatics suite in my personal computer, and like to install it in whatever #windows running computer I can :birthdaymsn:

I use #libreoffice most of the time to review csv files because it doesn't mess up the import like excel does sometimes.

The Month of LibreOffice, November 2024 is nearly over – but you can still get a sticker pack by saying what you use #LibreOffice for (with hashtag) 😊 blog.documentfoundation.org/bl… #foss opensource

Dear @libreoffice ,
I believe it is time to change the default interface layout to a design that is much more intuitive, accessible, and easy to understand for those unfamiliar with LibreOffice.
I would like to suggest making the default interface layout “Contextual Single” when it is ready, if only for the sake of those using LibreOffice for the first time.
Thank you! :ablobcatheartsqueeze:

What a refreshing story! I imagine many of us here owe a great deal to @libreoffice a software suite that has freed us from the grip of the document monopoly, thus broken our dependency on the fate of a single company.
If you're curious about how LibreOffice became what it is today, I highly recommend watching this in your spare time: youtu.be/9M468Krlawo

Super nice #macOS related fixes upcoming in #LibreOffice💪❤️
macOS dictation had a problem where dictated text would only show, once you make a pause speaking. That was inconvenient as it is much easier to gather your thoughts when spoken text appears immediately.

Another issue that has been ongoing for many many years was, that when you scrolled the sheet in calc and while scrolling was still ongoing pressed cmd for some operation, the zoom level would change. This extremely annoying behavior is no longer.

Both fixes done by #PatrickLuby of #NeoOffice - we should all thank him!

Will take some time for those to trickly down into stable, but 25.2 will bring those fixes for sure.

To all my writer friends that use MS Word - Microsoft has turned their AI bits and bots on to automatically go through anything done via Word.

Here's how to turn it off.

> Programs > Programs and Features > Uninstall Microsoft Office > Open browser > go to libreoffice.org > download @libreoffice

Then install LibreOffice on your computer and use Writer instead of Word.
