For system information tools, I still love Astra32. It shows info like S.M.A.R.T status for hard drives and reads them through its own driver, not Windows hardware probing only, and I could not find other tools that do this and present it in a nice accessible list with tree views. Ram speed, even CPU feature breakdown and manufacturing info, all there. astra32.com/

Is it supposed to cause my USB audio device to abruptly disconnect upon clicking continue, hold for a while, and then restart my computer? Or was that a crash?
@x0 ahaha haven't seen that one! What odd behavior for that. Sometimes the window can look like it's frozen as it scans, but that's about the only side effect I've seen, and a slight hang if you stay in it as it does so. The other tool I tried is SIV (System Information Viewer) 5.82 - but a lot more sparce, everything is one menu and less readable since it's just dumped in as text and not a list to the window. Still good for some of that detailed info and I think they also use a low-level driver to do the trick.
It caused NVDA to not just stop talking about an actual audio drop-out, which is indicative of the signal to this headset being lost. But it never said disconnected. I've also used HWInfo322, which lets me view everything in a tree, but yeah I think it might have crashed my computer.
@x0 huh, I didn't even realize it generate a log? I've run it on like, a dozen of laptops over the last ten or so years but never saw such oddness! very interesting and baffling in a way, unless it's pausing on some sort of, nonstandard controler it can't read and the driver bales, taking the system with it, because we all know how stable kernel-level drivers are on Windows and the amount of amazing unfettered access they have to things. :D

Once you start using DeltaChat you quickly forget the technical architecture that people get so upset about (oh no, email!!!) because it works so damn well.
Fast, reliable, you can send messages even if you're in an elevator, a cave, under the sea, in the woods with bad signal coverage, etc. None of this "message could not be delivered" garbage like with other messengers. The message will be successfully delivered when there's connectivity just like you expect.

Microsoft really needs to just throw the Xbox team at this problem and build a unified kernel-level anticheat framework into Windows which every game can utilize... this is just getting ridiculous

@sesivany Tu vlhkost celkem závidím, my držíme dům celkem nizko, mezi 23 a 24 st. ale za cenu toho, že větráme jen přes noc a okolo deváté se zavírá. Pak zase až pozdě večer, vlhkost tedy stoupá a stoupá, už jsme skoro na 70%. Chtělo by to rekuperaci s chlazením. Snad se už ochladí.
@electricCZ to zavírání dělá hrozně moc. My máme otevřené na terasu, protože děcka v jednom kuse běhají na zahradu. Kdybychom to měli zavřené, myslím, že bychom měli doma pořád kolem 22.
@sesivany U nás je to v domě hodně rozličné. Ve většině přízemí (hlavně v zadní části, která je částečně utopená pod zemí) je pořád okolo 20 °C. V patře je to horší, půda samozřejmě pekelná (neměřil jsem, ale bude tam během dne určitě dost přes 40).

Gitlab does not provide any system auditing webhooks on the free tier. If you want to be able to get alerts for things like new users, groups, snippets, projects etc so you can detect spam/bot accounts, you're screwed.
So I'm going to use this as a workaround and build my own solution.

Small follow-up question, just to make sure I understand it right:
If I'm correct, translations failing *enforced* checks (not "normal" checks) will be forced to have the "needs editing" flag and thus will automatically be blocked if you set Settings -> Workflow -> Translation quality filter to "Skip translations marked as needing editing", with no way for the editor to override this, right? Because that is the behaviour I need, I need people to stop submitting broken translations :)
