I had no idea how small this SanDisk memory stick was until it showed up today. It's not just small for a 1 TB, it's the tiniest I've ever seen. Imagine the typical memory stick with a USB A port, and then shrink the entire thing down so that a USB C port occupies the same percentage of surface area on the end. This is pretty cool news: the City Council of Paris is going to erect a statue of Louise Michel, to commemorate the 120th anniversary of her death, and it will be located just opposite the Sacré-Coeur on top of Montmartre.
This is clearly a political statement. The construction of the Sacré-Coeur started in 1875 and it formally meant to commemorate the deaths of the Franco-Prussian war and as a sacrifice of atonement for the "moral decline" that led to this disaster. But of course, the Paris Commune of 1871 (in which Louise Michel played a leading role) was equally seen as a symptom of this moral decline. And it was precisely on the top of Montmartre where this popular uprising began on 18 March 1871. The reactionary elite of Paris thus picked Montmartre as the construction site for the Sacré-Coeur, to celebrate the violent repression of the Commune and their own domination over Paris, and to punish the local population (whose public land had to be forcefully appropriated to make space for the basilica).
Version 0.4.0 (Codename „All Engines Running“) of Ltt.rs not only brings support for #UnifiedPush but also a UI refresh. The e-mail client for Android now supports Material U / dynamic colors.
Note that Ltt.rs requires an e-mail server that supports #JMAP. (There aren’t many providers that support it so Ltt.rs is currently more for the adventurous / self hosting type user.)
Librsvg 2.57.1 is out! This is a bugfix release: small-caps works again, fixed a panic with negative scaling, and minimal support for CSS var() colors with fallbacks.
@doctormo oh, yeah, right now librsvg only supports var(--foo, #aabbcc) where #aabbcc *is* specified as a fallback - i.e. it just picks up the fallback, as it does not actually store the list of defined custom values (--foo: #my_color_here).
