Es ist gut, dass die gemachten Fehler eingeräumt werden aber es ist mir nach wie vor vollkommen schleierhaft wieso hier überhaupt auf eine Eigenentwicklung gesetzt wurde. Warum nicht von Anfang an freie Software? Mit @matrix existiert doch schon seit Jahren eine entsprechende Lösung. Was soll(te) dieser Alleingang? #PublicMoneyPublicCode

Unsere europäischen Freunde machen es doch schon lange vor: Unter anderem die Regierungen von Luxemburg, Frankreich und der Ukraine verfügen über eine Chat-Infrastruktur, die mit dem Matrix-Protokoll läuft (Quelle: netzpolitik.org/2023/matrix-op…). Da liegt es doch auf der Hand dieses Protokoll auch zu nutzen und bei eventuell vorhandenen Problemen die Weiterentwicklung eben mit Steuermitteln zu finanzieren statt diese in proprietäre Sackgassen-Lösungen zu stecken.

Das Open-Source-Protokoll Matrix findet immer mehr begeisterte Anhänger:innen. Doch für die weitere Entwicklung fehlt das Geld. Die Matrix.org Foundation hat daher einen Hilferuf initiiert.

Hey, #Scala 2.12.19 & 2.13.13 are out!
#Scala 2.12.19 comes with some extra compatibility for JDKs 21 & 22 and a new `-Yrelease` flag to complement `-release` for working with old Java versions. And of course - bugfixes!
