Remembering Ivy Temple (1932-2024)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and colleague Ivy Temple. She was one of the founders of All Sorts, a weekly chat and music programme on The Global voice, and enjoyed listening to, and participating in, various shows on the station.
We wish to extend our condolences to her friends and family.

- adding the ability to drop to a debug/rescue shell on boot by using hardware keys
- making it a lot easier to get logs for debugging initramfs issues
- improving hardware detection in the initramfs
- speeding up boot on many devices
