"Diaz is just one of many neo-nazis who are also people of color. While Black neo-nazis are rare, in comparison Latino neo-nazis are fairly common. Latin America itself is honeycombed with neo-nazi groups, and is just one of the many places around the world where they can be found.
This may seem counterintuitive, if not nonsensical, for those who think of neo-nazism as the most extreme form of white supremacy which seeks the extermination of people of color. But the history of National Socialism is far more complex than many think, and the history of non-white National Socialists stretches back nearly a century."

Almost fifteen years ago to the day, I stuck a pair of cheap microphones outside my childhood home and streamed them on an Icecast server.
Today, the microphones have both been replaced, and they're in a different location, but still basically doing what they've been doing for all that time.
If, for some reason, you want a live, audio-only feed of some random neighborhood in suburban central North Carolina, it lives here.
This is running on a Raspberry Pi 4 running Liquidsoap for processing and archiving purposes. The microphones are a pair of Behringer XM-8500's connected to a Behringer UMC-202 HD audio interface. Not really an ideal setup, but it's cheap.
At some point, I want to miniaturize this setup, use condensers instead of dynamics, with the appropriate weather protection, and make the whole thing run on solar/battery power, but that's for another time.

I had forgotten this. Six years ago I researched the Refresh HTTP header field and came to the conclusion that #curl doesn't need to bother.
daniel.haxx.se/blog/2019/03/12…
The other day someone filed a bug on curl that we don't support redirects with the Refresh header. This took me down a rabbit hole of Refresh header research and I've returned to share with you what I learned down there.daniel.haxx.se

You may want to s/the the/the/ in your blog article.
You mention in the that chromium added telemetry on that header. They are decreasing and more than 1 magnitude below MetaRefresh's values.
Would vote to deprecate that from whatwg... Labeling it clearly as undefined behavior.

So whenever you see one or more green shields next to the version of an app in our repo browser at apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid you can be sure: this was built exactly from the source code it claims to be, nothing added or taken away.
Oh, and we should roll out those new shields soon™, so you see the independent builders 😉

@fexplorer @roofjoke @librechurch
ecclesias – plattformunabhängige & serviceorientierte Kirchensoftware – zahlreiche Anwendungen, Integrationen, uvm. – Made in Germanyecclesias

The United Nations Open Source United community and the Open Source Initiative (OSI) today announced that the OSI has become the first organization to officially endorse the UN Open Source Principles.unite.un.org
yes, and I don't get it - why endorse how to make open source projects if you don't actually do any open source projects?
Edit: Just to say that OSI thinks this is a good way for others ?
DDoS attacks almost always originate from hacked devices. The country/countries that the traffic originates from has never been an indicator of who's behind the attack. Musk's implication that Ukraine was responsible for the Twitter DDoS attack based on seeing some traffic originating from Ukrainian IPs is just dangerous speculation.
I've mapped botnet professionally for a decade, and all that looking at IP addresses locations tells you is the geographical distribution of compromised devices. When you plot this kind of data of chart, you typically just get a heat map of population density, slightly skewed by economic factors. Nations with larger populations tend to have more devices, but developing nations tend to have a higher percentage of older less secure devices, which are more likely to be hacked and recruited into botnets.
