A mistake I’m reclassifying as a happy accident is that I separated the threads wrong in stage 2. I started with the same 6-strand thread at the point the pen is pointing to, working out in both directions with 3 strand floss. But when i continued, I accidentally split the 6 threads 4 and 2, so the lower right is chunky and the upper left is sparse. But if i continue this 4/3/2/3/4 pattern it’s one more axis of variation for the curve!
There's a pretty good chance that I'm not going to get through the full intended fifth-iteration hilbert curve without running out of thread on one skein of floss I currently have for the project. If that happens I'm just going to have this one end wherever it ends; I already have an unwieldy number of ideas for other space filling curve projects after this one.

yeah I noticed that as well. Kids these days seem to not understand what a subject line is and just treat email as a messenger application, so they just put the entire email in the subject. I find that quite funny.
@can kids, but also people of all ages who didn't use the internet before smart phones and don't realize emails are not like text messages in that regard.

As I see, there is an option to download via API. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner, then select "View API". The response to the request will be a json document with a list of wav files and associated text.

@hub I’m cynical enough to assume the plan is: refuse access, then complain of bias that he’s not getting as much coverage, and then if he wins start defunding journalism.
during a campaign, party leaders can traverse so many cities in a day that it's not possible for the same reporters to follow the campaign without also being aboard the plane. but if he wants less mainstream media coverage, well, that's up to him.
frankly, I think this is more about avoiding public gaffes that could blow up his campaign. with the Conservatives, there's always some. 😅

Nevím, jestli to je gtk3 nebo použité téma, ale tohle prostě nesnáším. Na obrazovce místa jako kráva, ale tenhle list o dvou (ano, celé dvě položky) se zobrazí takto zmršený. Ty dvě šipky tam jsou zcela zbytečné, překrývají polovinu každé položky a není vidět, co se v nabídce. Když pohnu kolečkem myši, tak systém zjistí, že tam toho více není, šipky zmizí a položky seznamu jsou konečně čitelné.
Tohle si myslím, že bude tématem. S Adwaitou jsem to nikdy neviděl. Je to přesně ten důvod, proč GTK 4+libadwaita už neumožňuje skinování. Vývojáři to odladí s výchozím tématem, lidi pak na to plácají libovolná od třetích stran a výsledek je úplně mimo kontrolu.
@sesivany Já bych nejraději všechny GTK aplikace vykopal ze systému. Filozofie GTK mi nesedí, konfigurovatelnost veskrze žádná. Z dialogů, co mají tlačítka nahoře, vyloženě šílím.
Bohužel ne všechny aplikace mají Qt/KDE alternativy.

I really like the integration of #CollaboraOfficeOnline into #Nexctloud, but the built-in CODE server takes up 1.6GB of memory, which is just too much for my 4GB VPS. #Hetzner Storage Share doesn't even include it for this reason. Nextloud allows you to connect to any #Collabora Online server. Such a resource-intensive service is a great candidate for sharing, but no one offered it as a (paid) service, so I asked @archos if they could offer it as part of their @oscloud. They did and it works great and I just set up a recurring donation for them. 👍
