Titre: connaissez vous le panneau M12 ? Dessin : un feu tricolore et en dessous un panneau triangulaire M12 Sa fonction : permet au cyclistes de passer aux feux rouges sous certaines conditions Dans le code de la route depuis 2012 Il faut céder le passage aux piétons et véhicules ayant le feu vert.
En tant que cycliste, en arrivant au feu rouge, s'il y a le panneau, j'ai le droit de passer (en fonction de la flèche ça peut être à gauche, droite, tout droit...) en laissant la priorité aux piétons et voitures. Donc je ne grille aucun feu.
J'espère que ce post vous a appris quelque chose. Le but est que cyclistes et automobilistes puissent circuler en bonne intelligence et en toute sécurité (comme les piétons et autres usagers) En restant braqués voitures VS vélos on n'avancera pas.

Excusez-moi, j'ai rien contre vous personnellement, mais je suis piéton non-voyant et je déteste les cyclistes autant. roulent rapidement, n'observent pas de règles, s'en fichent des piétons, utilisent des trottoirs comme pistes cyclables, ne freinent jamais suffisament, klaxonnent frénétiquement en attendant tout le monde bondir de leur route pour les laisser passer. Absolument affreux. Les autos… oui, y en a des cons, mais en général pas sur des trottoirs. Chaque fois que je quitte la maison je me demande si l'un(e) de ces individus me jette par terre cette fois ou la prochaine.

Jako deployment tool jedu kamal-deploy.org, na ktery jsem si brousil zuby hodne dlouho ... a mel jsem vysoke naroky. A musim rict, ze jsem naprosto nadseny. V zasade pokryje vsechny use-casy Vercelu za cenu zeleza na Scaleway.

Az me prekvapilo, jak bezproblemovy ten flow je. Prakticky resi presne ty problemy, ktere me napadnou pri deployi cehokoli.

@zdenek Na otazky bezpecnosti jsem narazil. Je to asi nejvetsi kritika Kamalu. (i toho devops, nejenom serveru)

Ale to je resitelne, dulezite je DX pro vyvoj a otevrene moznosti skalovani. Bez toho by switchnout z Vercelu (top DX) neslo.

Aktualne mam na zkousku cast produkce na klasicke virtualce, ale planuju poridit 3x silnejsi masinu na Elastic Metal a dat tam 3x klon databaze (mame ted cockroachlabs.cloud) a k tomu 3x klon hlavni Next appky a zbytek nasazet bokem.

I don't know if something like that would really end up having a sizable market that would make it worth the effort. You're basically chasing the nostalgia that GenX and Millennials have for such things, and maybe they're buying it and hoping their kids will use it.

If I had the modern internet when I was young with all of the apps, social media, Youtube, countless cheap/free games, smartphones and tablets, etc... I doubt I'd have been spending my time trying to program and learn Linux/Unix stuff. I'd have been consuming all the other stuff 24/7.

I feel like there's a 15-20 year period where we existed in a bubble which drove us to these interests and develop these skills, but now there's so many distractions and options to spend your time on it's going to be very difficult to recreate that again in a younger generation.

Nechápu, proč drtivá většina IT firem po covidové pandemii zrušila možnost 100% práce z domova. To mě nakonec donutilo změnit můj obor, takže už žádný webdesign / webdev 😐 Prostě jsem musel změnit plány při hledání práce. Třeba je to tak lepší, skoro 19 let jsem si užil docela dostatečně a nelíbí se mi směr, kterým celý webdev obor kráčí: namísto ustálení nebo zjednodušení se vše pořád jen víc komplikuje. Docela lituju nováčky, dnes bych v tom začínat nechtěl.

Myslím si, že ten negativní trend se týká celého IT odvětví. Náročnější integrační role budou mít pořád o práci postaráno, ale "dělníci kódu" budou pod tlakem a myslím, že v oboru už dobře bylo. Kdybych byl dnes na začátku kariéry, tak už asi volím trochu něco jiného. Něco na pomezí. Třeba IT a energetika.

Je to docela smutné uvědomění. Už dlouho melanchonicky vzpomínám na 80ky a 90ky. Ne vše bylo růžové, samozřejmě, ale mám pocit, že se opravdu hodně oblastí každých 15-20 let změní k horšímu. Slibovanou zlatou budoucnost lidstva na téhle planetě teda opravdu nečekám.
BTW mě by dnes alternativně zajímalo třeba embedded programování (v tom vidím stále potenciál), ale to už mi dávno ujel vlak.

So at @thunderbird we have this database of email server configurations: github.com/thunderbird/autocon…

In a conversation with @cketti a while ago, I started wondering how many of those configs rely on POP3.

I'm happy to finally present the numbers:

Out of 152 configs,

- 16 only provide an IMAP server (10.5%)
- 45 only provide a POP3 server (29.6%)
- 91 have both a POP3 and an IMAP server (59.7%)

This analysis naively assumes that all configs in that repo still work and are up to date ;)

Dnes je to ve mlýně "na Komárka".
Výjimečně trochu pozdní snídaně,
pak na chvilku na rozvodnu, jen naložit pokud vše funguje jak má.
No a vzhůru domů, do hor, abych jen vypral, zabalil stan a víkend zase u Sázavy, ale o hodně více po proudu, jdeme natahovat asi 150m plotu.
A to bude závěr mého prvního týdne dovolené, 3 dny v práci, 1 den na kole, 1 den doma u pračky a za plotnou, 2 dny tahání plotu.
A to bylo včera #55 ....

Holt ne vždy se daří....
