There's quite a major BUG going on with pasting images from the clipboard.
You write an email on the web interface, you paste an image from the clipboard, it appears as "image.png". You keep writing the email you past another image, it appears again a second image.png file in the email attachments list and on the email body as the actual image.
You then hit send, the email you send has none of those images, despite them being in the email body and on the attachment list.

Wenn ich Revolutionary buche, kann ich dann jeder E-Mail-Adresse, Aliase und Domain jeweils eine eigene Signatur hinzufügen? Wenn ich auf Tarif Upgrade gehe, zeigt es mir lediglich eine jährliche Vertragslaufzeit an. Wenn ich ohne Anmeldung auf die Seite gehe, kann ich auch monatliche Vertragslaufzeit auswählen. Warum nicht als Bestandskunde?

So much for privacy. At least they didn't take Microsoft who were copying documents from the dutch government for 'diagnostics'. And google has way better security.
You guys in #tuta are fighting a fight worth having, but (in my opinion) you need to do things differently if you want to make a dent on US hegemony in this space.
It is a fact that Proton is really bad for privacy advocates. They are marketing, but in reality there are technically and ideologically much more stable providers. #Tuta and #Posteo have been mentioned here several times. #Proton users, please look behind the scenes. This provider is perhaps better than Google, but still not a very good solution.

@lernbuddy for some it is ok that encryption is not there, but we gain standard protocols support, many clients and ability to easily migrate *of* #tuta.
Standard protocols do not allow vendor lock-in.
Why not build your protocol on #jmap instead? Like an extension supporting encryption?
Just like Linus (LTT) said, Apple could have just stopped working in UK territory, people would fight back against UK's government, pushing them to revert back the law and get Apple back. But Apple has no backbone and cares only about money, unlike Tuta.

Tuta email, located in Germany, Europe, now uses quantum computers to encrypt their emails.
(Technically, they are using algorithms determined to be safe against attacks from quantum computers. And they don't actually have a quantum computer running 24/7, but that is good enough for me.)
