@broz42 The revamp happened over several years, and changes were released (to our users) as they were ready. We now have concluded the effort and included the last bunch of structure changes in the 3.4 release.

any chance we see the multiple inboxes/queues feature anytime soon? Antennapod is great, but it gets cluttered when you have subscribed to a lot of podcasts.
@julian We had someone potentially interested in developing it. The UX is pretty much ready, but we unfortunately dropped the ball. So it'll probably be a while until someone is willing to pick up this challenging project.

We don't give out monetary incentives as it makes things difficult (how to determine the amount, how to determine for which feature we set up a bounty, etc). If you're willing to contribute as non-dev have a look here: antennapod.org/contribute/ Any contributor who stays around for a longer time is a great asset, and makes it more likely that features will get implemented (e.g. by freeing up time of core contributors)

the only issue with BDFL is the problem of succession ... have you considered rotating/sharing out key rituals in curl eg. someone else manage a release every once in a while - for example ?
@jimfuller I have made sure that making a release is a matter of following the checklist in a public document, and in fact anyone can do that. It's just the signing with my key and the upload credentials to the server that makes it harder for anyone else to do it.
@jimfuller I'm not sure I see the value in doing that. We're doing basically that automatically every day as daily snapshots (and we verify it in the CI). We know the scripted making of a release "just works".

In January, I reported a bug in #Firefox for the #Mac where VoiceOver loses complete page contents under certain circumstances. The bug recently received a patch, and I was curious and discovered that I can still read Mozilla code without problems. But I resisted the temptation to put the Firefox build system on my Mac and build it myself.
@jcsteh Yeah, I thought so, since the behavior was totally weird, and I couldn’t get a more descriptive report for you. Looking forward to the fix. And I guess this was another of those undocumented properties that you just have to find somewhere else, AKA WebKit or so, to make it work.
Today, Firefox 128 was released which contains the patch mentioned in a previous post on this thread. And I cannot overstate how much of a quality improvement this is! Thanks again to the team to stick with it even though reproducing it was complicated, and fixing it so thoroughly.

Wow. A microbiology lab at Texas A&M accepted purchased raw milk samples from NPR for H5N1 testing, then contacted the milk producers to seek permission. When the producers said, "don't test our milk," the lab not only declined to carry out the tests but also refused to send the samples on to another lab.
