Db2 11.5.6 clients can verify the hostname that appears in a Db2 server's Transport Layer Security (TLS, formerly known as SSL) certificate against the server for which they are configured to connect.
indeed a nice option but for testing / troubleshooting only. A bit aside, but the other feature of curl I heavily used is the --connect-to parameter.
Say you fire up the production ruleset of your front balancer with in some container, then can use `curl -k --connect-to real.domain:443:local.test` to test it for real. I used to test all the expected redirects, also if the right paths/subdomains were routed to the right backends (though that's a different story).
Running a `zpool scrub` on my mirrored NVMe SSDs. The image on the left is without heatsinks and the right is with heatsinks. Both graphs show a 50 minute time window.
Before installing heatsinks it took 15-20 minutes to scrub, and since, it's only 6 minutes. Perhaps the drives were thermal throttling?

What about the universal backdoor that Tuta has had already since its inception? Tuta is a web app. It can at any time update its Javascript code to include a backdoor. Such backdoors can be deployed to selected clients, and will not show up in the public repository.

Posledních minimálně 15 let byly překlady GNOME do češtiny ve výborném stavu. U každého vydání jsem jen hlásil, že je vše přeložené, poslední roky to platilo i pro drtivou většinu dokumentace. Poslední rok se to ale začalo zadrhávat. Přispěvatelé, kteří to dlouhé roky táhli, odešli a není nikdo, kdo by to po nich převzal. Proto jsme se rozhodli jít s pravdou ven: GNOME momentálně nemá české překladatele a pokud se toho neujme někdo nový, překlady začnou postupně upadat.

In Firefox, there's a pretty high chance that the visit will actually exhaust the a11y bus bytes quota, so all clients (including the screen reader) will be kicked out. In Chrome, it did not happen, but any sophisticated navigation (by heading, etc.) did not work either. This outcome is not certain, but very likely.
I mean... Seriously, fsck gitlab. I always have, and probably always will, hate this awful platform regarding it's less than stellar accessibility. No matter which OS you use, the minute you need a screen reader, you're in trouble.
It's gotten to a point that if a project use gitlab in any shape or form, I don't bother reporting issues and contributing. I don't have the spoons to deal with this anymore.
I don't find it personally as bad as you, but yes, some things are best done somewhat differently, e. g. I'm usually going for the patch of a merge request and reviewing that, rather than reviewing it in the UI, same with browsing code, if not cloning the repo outright.

For at least the last 15 years, the translations of GNOME into Czech have been in excellent condition. With each release, I would only report that everything was translated, and for the last few years, this was also true the vast majority of the documentation. However, last year things started to falter. Contributors who had been carrying this for many years left, and there is no one to take over after them. Therefore, we have decided to admit it publicly: GNOME currently has no Czech translators, and unless someone new takes over, the translations will gradually decline.
Personally, I started working on GNOME translations in 2008 when I began translating my favorite groupware client – Evolution. At that time, the leadership of the translation team was taken over by Petr Kovář, who was later joined by Marek Černocký who maintained the translations for many years and did an enormous amount of work. Thanks to him, GNOME was almost 100% translated into Czech, including the documentation. However, both have completely withdrawn from the translations. For a while, they were replaced by Vojtěch Perník and Daniel Rusek, but the former has also left, and Dan has now come to the conclusion that he can no longer carry on the translations alone.
I suggested to Dan that instead of trying to appeal to those who the GNOME translations have relied on for nearly two decades—who have already contributed a lot and are probably facing some form of burnout or have simply moved on to something else after so many years—it would be better to reach out to the broader community to see if there is someone from a new generation who would be willing and energetic enough to take over the translations. Just as we did nearly two decades ago.
It may turn out that an essential part of this process will be that the GNOME translations into Czech will decline for some time.Because the same people have been doing the job for so many years, the community has gotten used to taking excellent translations for granted. But it is not. Someone has to do the work. As more and more English terms appear in the GNOME interface, perhaps dissatisfaction will motivate someone to do something about it. After all, that was the motivation for the previous generation to get involved.
If someone like that comes forward, Dan and I are willing to help them with training and gradually hand over the project. We may both continue to contribute in a limited capacity, but the project needs someone new, ideally not just one person, but several, because carrying it alone is a path to burnout. have you considered organizing a translathon at the Brno Red Hat office? The String Freeze is coming soon, so that would be a good opportunity to get people involved and maybe find the next generation.
We'll see if there is any interest. I've been too busy lately to organize a hackfest just in case someone shows up. I've talked to several people who showed some interest, but pretty much everyone was put off by the GNOME's l10n infra. Damn Lies haven't evolved at all in the last 15 years. We old timers don't mind it or may even welcome it, but these days people are used to better UX. I wonder this could also significantly contribute to this situation. :(
If you inspire/coax someone to write better/additional tools that could also be a good outcome. I'm far enough from this problem (in multiple ways) that I'm unlikely to help myself, but I like the way that this thread lays out the problem and does what y'all can to invite in new contributors.
@Brno Hat Oh btw most likelly this is known already, however the same can be said about slovak translations of gnome apps. I'm trying to update 1 or 2 of my favorite apps each year, there are too few maintainers and I'd welcome anyone capable and keen on joining to try translating or updating translation of their favorite apps. Later on perhaps we'll manage to improve the overal outcome.
@pvagner Vtostian gnome translation is also done by just one person, but the difference is that he doesn't want to form the team. He is trying to do monopoly, and that's why me as a young person gave up. I don't want to fight with somebody who doesn't accept help.

NVDA Alpha 35286 finally adds leading silence detection and removal logic. The changelog says: "The silence at the beginning of speech will now be trimmed when using OneCore voices, SAPI5 voices, and some third-party voice add-ons to improve their responsiveness." @asael Honestly - and I'm really picky, I can't grasp the problems. For me they are pronounced as before - maybe a tad less emphasized, but totally understandable.

@asael The average user isn't going to reconfigure the silence threshold when their synth isn't pronouncing something correctly. I think if it were going to be configurable, it'd need to be disabled by default. But hopefully there's a better default threshold that can be used which would avoid this.
