Never, ever use #elevenlabs dubbing feature to translate ASMR from another language to English. I may never sleep again! Just endless creepy whispery voices telling me "This is Lee Hyuk Young from NBC news", strange demonic moaning, aliens thanking me for watching, and saying sorry. This started as someone whisper reading in another language I don't speak (because I find that relaxing), and I think whatever the heck she was reading just makes it worse somehow. Something about decapitated heads, trains, and raccoons? Then again, I don't think ElevenLabs can translate whispers at all, so this could have been anything.

Last week I presented my paper at SecDev on the impact #Rust has vs. #C++ on the probability of a vulnerability being introduced by a first-time contributor to a project—and therefore, how easy it is for newbies to get contributions merged. The full paper is available here:
but the tl;dr is: Rust significantly lowered the number of vulnerabilities introduced, especially from new contributors, and increased the quantity of new contributors to projects.

Tangential question that that thread has made me wonder: How do you decide what to put in the user surveys? I recently worked for someone creating a survey and the attention to detail in the design to try and get the most useful data there was mind boggling. Given how important #curl is, it makes me wonder how you do it?
@WilliamLeech I started out by adding all the questions that I could think of that I would like answers to. Then I try to learn, add and adjust them every year to reach better and to help us better. But I also want to keep most of them mostly the same so that we better can see trends and changes year-by-year. Then maybe asking the questions is the easy part, figuring out what the answers mean is harder...
