Adding and changing a share target is much easier there and with a bit of clever design it would work with any reachable page or resource, not just those web pages where the authors thought of adding share buttons

There’s something there around giving moms / aunts jewellery or handbags, maybe, but like ‘I’m going to give you a ticket to this event’ or ‘I am going to give you a random candle or sock’ would probably be met with confusion.
Anyway, American gift giving culture is really confusing to me and I have never once sat down to think ‘I wonder what this person would want!!’
