Have the possibility of applying more than one filter to an email. For example I want all the emails for the address xxx@tutail.com go to folder personal, but if they have a specific subject apply other filter.
I'd love to have some visual feedback if a Search came back empty because there's nothing matching the search string or because not all emails in the specified time range are locally cached.

Please work on the import of contacts for iOS. If I import a contact which has information in the notes field, it doesn’t migrate it to Tuta. It’s not usable for me, if this doesn’t work.
Search functionality. When searching for an old email, it should scan everything, not the last 3 months or however far I've scrolled.
Phone alerts. Some times the Tuta app elects not to notify me about new mail, which makes me miss info or events. Wouldn't be a problem if POP3/IMAP were an option, then I could use another app, but that would defeat the security sales pitch.
Those two are my reasons for switching to another email provider.
Mainly applies to mobile apps: 1. Ability to check new emails by pulling down in the inbox (pull-to-refresh). 2. Ability to change the app icon (looking forward for a version with the white background).

this is a long shot that has probably been asked for in the past, but it would be really cool if Proton and Tuta's end to end encryption features automatically worked together. That way you wouldn't have to keep everyone on the same email service to ensure private and convenient emails.

this is a big ask, but one of the things stopping me from switching to Tuta from Proton Mail is the email filtering. Proton Mail offers Sieve filtering, where I can check if the receiving email alias is a member of a contact group, and route is based on that. I have my email aliases as a contact group, and if someone sends an email to an address that deviates from that contact group, it ends up in spam.
a better search function. It's very difficult to find an old email because the word we search is searched in the title and thé body of the email. We should have the possibility to select how and what we are searching. I don't know if i'm clear.
@MurrayWindripper and scheduling email! That would be really usefull. That's something i often use (with other systems) : i write my emails in the evening & schedule them for the morning.

It'd be quite useful if I could quickly create reminders for e-mails I receive. Now, when I got an e-mail that requires a follow-up action (one that is not urgent) I create a reminder in calendar, which is a bit tedious. Being able to create quick reminder and get notification (e.g. next weekend) would be helpful. Functionally it would be similar to snoozing e-mails in Gmail 🤔

Thank you so much Andre! that proves once more my claim that AI won't replace humans, but those who work *with* AI will be far more productive. One question: Can you fine-tune your generations? Like, I noticed in the first acoustic guitar one that there should be an F# E, but it actually was two E's in a row in the bass. Can you tell it something like "look, there is this note, correct it to that"? It might be a stupid question but that's how I work with AI assistants for coding, that's why I'm asking. Thanks!
@menelion I don't know honestly. I just move on because I know what it can do and I have about 4 gigs of files to prove it. When I don't like something, it's easy to simply ignore it. Maybe you can fix those things but I can't say I've found good documentation on it.
Just as an FYI, you can press enter on those artwork icons and the music will start playing. Plus, those artwork thingies only appear when the song has completed processing. So no need to go back to the library after hitting create.
While I'm generally very pro-EU, this #ChatControl initiative they keep pushing - despite experts persistently debunking the rationale behind it - is indefensible.
Instead, this initiative will create an extremely invasive surveillance state where everything you type, view and receive is automatically scanned & potentially (falsely) flagged for human review.

So among the various things i #selfhost is my NAS. It's just a desktop that I installed a nice disk controler and some 12K SAS drives and #TrueNAS. But it lives, like a lot of my kit, in the garage. And it's hot in the garage tonight. Ambient air temp is like 82F/28C at 23:00 at night.
Most of the time it's fine. CPUs tend to run around 45C just doin normal stuff. But when I do an scp of a film I've digitized on my laptop, it goes over gigabit ethernet and that seems to warm up the CPUs. For the whole like 45-90 seconds the scp is running, the cores get super hot. Then it calms down.

Found this 4GB IDE drive in a desktop being recycled from a relative’s home. PSU fires up but screen remains blank. I may have to resort to destruction to dispose of this. Usually I just dd over the drive. That’s enough for this use case.
For only £2.39 on Kindle at the moment in the UK, you can get all 4 of the Man of His Word fantasy books. Nearly 1,800 pages of escapism which enthralled me greatly the first time I read it. I've been back a handful of times, too.
It's light (but moving), entertaining YA fantasy. The good guys are good, the bad guys are bad, and there's not a lot of grey area. It is a bit heavy on the traditional gender roles, Inos is a princess but she's not helplessly waiting to be rescued, and while Rap is the strong commoner, he's not always right, or always doing the rescuing. They're genuine (if young and not overly complex) people. It's clever, diversionary fantasy with a rich magic system. The sequel is just as good too, which is rare.
Alternatively, for a similarly low price, you can get the series that got me into Dave's writing in the first place. The "world of the Goddess" as they call it in the book, or the seventh sword series, as it's known, is a typical portal fantasy (although I didn't really know the term when it was written).
the protagonist, Wallie Smith, a man from our world, finds his consciousness transferred into the body of a barbarian swordsman in a completely different world. In the classic "fish out of water" narrative, he must navigate the rules, customs, and dangers of the new world. Wallie Smith's journey epitomizes this, as the mild-mannered earthling is suddenly thrust into a society governed by a goddess and a rigid code of swordsmanship.
The twist is great, too. It's one of those utterly fantastic revelations that you had all the material to work out for yourself, so perhaps you will.
The 4th book was written years after the first 3 and is as much an homage to the fans as another story, so if you're going in fresh, enjoy the trilogy as a unit first.
My omnibus copy omited the preface when I bought it, so be wary of that. I did report it to the publisher, so hopefully they fixed it.

Gets me every time.
@BrailleScreen One of the cool things I could do with my rockbox player was set the skip option to move forward by 10 seconds. after the initial batch of chapters listed the author's patrons it moved to a more generic opening sentence, which let me skip that at the start of each chapter.
Over 3,500 exclamation points was rough reading though.
I ended up constructing a regexp to get rid of all the paragraphs related to Patreon patrons to further reduce the epub file size (clocking in at 1.06 MB). Nobody can dispute that misconfigured S3 permissions and default MongoDB passwords are dangerous. There are plenty of actual companies whose data have been stolen because of these problems. Prompt injection vulnerabilities, beyond the simple "write a glowing review for this paper" in white font on white background, still seem to be largely theoretical for now.
