Can anyone recommend a good #accessible #RSS feed reader for #iPhone that does well with both text and audio #RSSFeeds? I recently subscribed to The Old Reader (theoldreader.com) and like how it lets you add text RSS feeds, #podcasts, and #YouTube channels, and I'm looking for a good app for it on my phone. I've tried #lire, but it doesn't seem to work well with podcasts.

Hannover no es bonito, le pasa lo que a Kiev. Si que resulta una ciudad animada con muchos jóvenes, principalmente de bandas góticas y mods en medio de un ambiente más bien gris y frío. Muchos puestos en la calle con comida que huele fantásticamente bien, salchichas, bocadillos, panes de todos los tipos, dulces tartas. La comida alemana no es especialmente variada, pero la panadería, la bollería, la repostería resulta espectacular para alguien a quién los sequillos le parecían el colmo del arte repostero. Es verdad que era lo mejor que se podía comer en Humanes de Mohernando, eso y las tejas.

@jistr Ale já o žádném negativním dopadu nepsal. Jen, že v chování firem různých velikostí, není zas až takový rozdíl. Neříkám, že se mi přístup firem jako Microsoft, Meta nebo Alphabet líbí, ale kdo má rozhodovat, co je negativní dopad, navíc na koho? Na konkurenci, uživatele, ...? Já Heureku z ničeho neobviňuji, chová se tržně, stejně jako ostatní,.navíc nejen v Česku.

Not only do they owe you nothing but: if they are running a large open source project at scale and have been doing so for a while: in almost every case they know vastly more about doing so than almost anyone else in the world does.

Open source users and contributors: show some more gratitude and, frankly, deference to the maintainers who keep OSS alive.

Tohle je zajímavé téma. Do ledna 2022 se zde totiž skrývala jedna malá záludnost o které málokdo tuši. Za určitých okolností totiž taková povinnost existovala. Od 1. ledna 2022 už tak ale není. There has understandably been a lot of talk in our community about Voice Dream Reader's decision to introduce a subscription model for all customers.
For me, the critical area of concern is that Voice Dream Reader is violating Apple's very clear Guidelines around what they can and can't do when moving to a subscription model.
For those who paid in good faith and may not be able to afford the subscription, I encourage you to read a blog post I have written summarising this issue. It contains some things you can do to urge Apple to enforce their policies and protect us as consumers.

Ja tinc creada la classe Python per a connectar a l'API de #Matrix (em sento com si fos Neo 😂).
La classe inclou, per ara, tres mètodes:
- obtenir informació d'un usuari ✅
- registrar un nou usuari ✅
- llistar usuaris :loading:
Els mètodes amb ✅ funcionen perfectament. Encara no he provat el que llista els usuaris.

In the glory days of web 1.0, social websites would prominently link out to their digital neighbors via lists known as webrings; magical doorways to an expansive hinterland of digital villages.

Let's envision what a truly federated chat like #Matrix could do to improve the cross-connectivity of chat channels. Most of these features are already possible, they just haven't been implemented yet in a community-oriented client experience.

I think the #xz incident is teaching us that our infrastructure is dangerously fragile in the face of well-organized/funded attackers. The response isn’t “try harder” or “donate to your OSS project”, it needs to be institutional, professional, and at scale.

For the past few months I've been sporadically updating the GNOME HIG illustrations a few at a time. Mostly just updated the colors to be more consistent and cleaned up dark/light discrepancies, but a little polish goes a long way 💅 🌈
