Looks like global shortcuts are not possible under #Wayland's security model. #Hyprland apparently poked a hole into it to enable it.

If anyone knows a workaround for #KDE (or #GNOME) let me know. I used to define global shortcuts for all sorts of stuff.

An update to the #Flatpak packages in #Forgejo: I have now a working basic UI together with an flatpak+https link. I will probably open a PR today or tomorrow.

The Link is currently only working in #GNOME Software. It looks like #KDE Discover is just bugged and spits out meaningless errors. The flatpakref works with the official flatpak cli, so it's valid. If I get something easy reproducible, I will open a KDE bug.

For all the KDE Kate enthusiasts and GTK developers (which I am sure there except for just me haha), invent.kde.org/utilities/kate/… and invent.kde.org/frameworks/synt… have both been merged into Kate, meaning Kate now supports Blueprint, the next-gen markdown language for GTK/Libadwaita applications!

OK Linux folks. With #KDE hitting 29 years old, I'm curious about switching my gaming PC from Windows 11 to KDE. The games I play are listed on ProtonDB as being gold or platinum, so I think I'm good as far as gaming goes, but I have some other software concerns.
