Think only the Quiplash voice would be questionable there as it is a person's voice, but then there's this weird gray area with gaming-specific voices, and someone may genuinely use it to say, create a modded Jackbox party pack for their community, rather than to blackmail the people behind those voices. But you never know, so that could get taken down if I'm asked, or find out that voice usage spikes quickly for the wrong reason.

In French, we call foxes “renards”, although before the 13th century we used to call them “goupils”, from the Latin “vulpes”. It changed because of a famous character in medieval literature who was an anthropomorphic fox named “Renart”, which has the same origin as the German name Reinhard–he’s actually still called Reynard in English. The stories of Renart were so popular that the name replaced the original noun. It’s like if nowadays people called cats garfields.

I'm a bit confused on the localisation front, because here you say that you use weblate, but currently Thunderbird's only project on weblate seems to be Thunderbird for Android, wheras Thunderbird Desktop and thunderbird.net are on pontoon. I'm wondering where we might expect future project's localisation to be based from (like the Thunderbird Pro stuff).
